Che posto piacevole! Accogliente con quel tanto di atmosfera familiare che ci vuole, personale gentile e professionale. Cibo tipico con un tocco in più. Abbiamo pranzato insieme ad un ospite calabrese che ha apprezzato molto la cucina triestina. Tutto era perfetto. Prosciutto ottimo, carne saporita e di qualità, gnocchi di pane e susine particolari davvero. Consigliato.

Buffet Marascutti 1914

08/12/2025: I had dinner last night at Vecio Buffet Marasciutti, a restaurant that's been open since the early 1900s and is a true Trieste institution. I don't have any photos of the dishes, because every time the dish arrived, all I could do was savor the moment. And that's the real strength: the food was a delight with every forkful, a thrill of authentic flavors. The atmosphere is typical, timeless, and pleasant. The service is simple, simple, and friendly. I think Vecio Buffet Marascutti is a must-see for anyone in Trieste. Go there and prepare to leave your phone in your pocket. PS: Reservations, if not required, are highly recommended.
