Excellent food, very kind staff.

We were looking for a typical place with Roman cuisine, we had a great time, not only for the excellent cuisine but also for the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. The owner let us chat outside the restaurant, providing us with tables, good wine and excellent liqueurs.

Characteristic inn of the Castelli Romani, intimate and welcoming at the same time. Exquisite dishes typical of Roman cuisine. Kind, polite and professional people. I will definitely return.

Caratteristica osteria dei Castelli Romani, atmosfera intima e accogliente allo stesso momento. Marco, il proprietario, è una persona eccezionale così come lo staff, personale educato, gentile e disponibile. Dagli antipasti ai primi, secondi e dolci è stato tutto squisito. La carbonara, la cacio e pepe sono una delizia, anche con soluzioni senza glutine di alto livello (mia moglie è celiaca). Ho mangiato una porchetta che, a mio avviso, supera i brand più rinomati della vicina Ariccia. C'è anche la possibilità di acquistare del buon vino locale di produzione propria. Consigliatissimo!!

I had the opportunity for the second time to eat at the For de Porta restaurant in Marino after the prestigious Moby Dick Literary Competition held at Palazzo Colonna, and I must say that it was once again a truly memorable experience! The menu offers a variety of Roman and Castellan dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I tasted the pasta alla matriciana and tonnarello, bacon, artichokes and pecorino prepared with great skill, not to mention the starters. The restaurant environment is warm and welcoming, with an atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy your meal. The interiors are classic, I believe, of a former cellar, all well cared for and reflects the traditional character of the cuisine served. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure our experience was pleasant, responding to all our requests. For de Porta is an exceptional restaurant, which does not disappoint. If you are looking for an authentic, quality and homemade culinary experience this is the right place. Absolutely recommended!

Excellent "typical" restaurant: a truly particular environment - essentially it is a large cave, very welcoming - a remarkable and very abundant menu and finally a friendly, helpful, very efficient and quick staff.
