The sandwiches are good but not exceptional. I'll be back to try something else and see if I'll be disappointed (or not). The place is very small but cute, and the staff is kind and helpful.

The sandwich and fries are delicious, tasty, and easy to digest. The place is very nice inside, but a bit small, so ordering and delivery can take a while. If you want to eat at a table, it's best to make a reservation, as seating is limited. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommended!

21/02/2026: The dishes are plentiful, well-served, and delicious. The value for money is excellent. The place is extremely welcoming, furnished in a traditional, homely style, with period objects and photographs, chosen by the owners, who are kind and make guests feel at home. The licorice liqueur, kindly offered at the end of the meal, is wonderful. Highly recommended for everyone, whether you're with family, alone, or with friends, whether you're just passing through, on vacation, or live in Bologna. 29/01/2026: Beautiful osteria. Typical Tuscan, plentiful food. I ordered a plate of incredibly tender tagliata, and I've never had such good food. I'd definitely go back when I'm in Bologna.

Piccola osteria del Borgo

07/03/2026: Friday night with engaging and hilarious karaoke!!! An authentic osteria, a warm atmosphere, simple and authentic dishes, and good wine.
06/03/2026: A quick lunch, excellent fried polenta and squaccherone. The tortellini in broth were also excellent.
