This Abruzzo restaurant in the Pescara hills was a wonderful surprise. In a tastefully decorated, family-style atmosphere, we dined on a beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view of the Pescara hills. We were thoroughly satisfied with the small, tasty appetizers, followed by a delicious chitarra in bianco (a type of pasta) with sheep's milk ricotta, saffron, and crispy guanciale (bacon bacon). Potato ravioli with herbs and two perfectly cooked meat main courses with side dishes were also delicious. The desserts were also excellent. The service was very kind and attentive. The bill was also very fair. I hope to return soon with more friends. Traditional Abruzzo cuisine presented with class and simplicity. Congratulations!

Restaurant in a beautiful old building with a super relaxing view.
The staff who served us were friendly, as was the chef's presence. Dishes were beautifully presented, the ingredients excellent, and the prices reasonable for this type of restaurant.

A warm welcome awaited us with a small flan, a puff pastry basket filled with pumpkin, while we waited for the first courses.
The hot and cold appetizers were excellent and plentiful... the main courses were delicious... the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly...

Questo è un ristorante in cui tornerei altre mille volte! Il posto è molto bello e l’atmosfera davvero suggestiva. Tutto risulta curato al dettaglio, dalla tavola ai piatti. Si percepisce perfettamente l’amore che fa da sfondo ad ogni cosa! Tutto buonissimo, vino ottimo e gentilezza da parte di tutti. Il prezzo è congruo a tutto ciò che ho elencato. Non è un posto da visitare velocemente per mangiare qualcosa che riempia lo stomaco ma è un’esperienza da vivere con calma e godendo di tutto ciò che i nostri sensi incontrano. Spero di tornare prestissimo! Grazie al proprietario davvero simpatico e al cameriere (non conosco il nome) davvero accogliente.

The welcome from Antonio and his staff is always top notch.. and if you are lucky enough to arrive on a day that is not too crowded, it becomes an even more engaging experience.. familiar.. we look forward to popping in to eat outdoors.. moving on to the dishes, I would say that Antonio has given a precise identity to this restaurant, reworking the flavors of the area with personality. Abundant portions, no fear of having complex digestions thanks to the choice of raw materials.

Today, in view of the good weather that was this morning, we went to the Font' Artana restaurant, a place in the heart of the historic center of Piacciano (it is right in the main square of the town), to enjoy a good lunch in the open air.
It's impossible not to notice the beautiful period photos hanging on the walls and the various historical objects present inside and in the small garden below, where we ate (do we want to mention the old plow embedded in the olive tree?).
The staff, as well as the service was very efficient and kind, I give it an excellent rating
I vote for the young lady who assisted us during the meal with the orders and courses and for the friendly owner who never missed the opportunity to "show off" a few jokes and a smile👍.
In a place like this the food must certainly be excellent too... and in fact it is; before starting to eat it is the restaurant's habit to bring a welcome appetizer which, personally, didn't drive me too crazy but, if nothing else, it was much appreciated by the others.
The appetizers with which we started (one Classic and 2 Hot), were very good and fresh, I give particular praise to the fried pizzelle, hot, artisanal and tasty, and the entremè, done well.
The first is certainly my dish
I liked it the most: I had the Gnocchi with white duck ragù, extraordinary, it's a dish that I absolutely recommend!
The sparone pasta with sauce was also appreciated.
Since they were starting to get full, we didn't get a second one, even though they would undoubtedly be good too.
For dessert I tried the chantilly with sheep's ricotta, very soft and crunchy, for the biscuit base underneath and a passion fruit ice cream with coconut cramble served in a truly original pair, good.
Finished with a good coffee.
