I go there often; lately, I've had the best focaccia in Messina, and not only that, but also excellent pitoni and arancini. The staff are very kind and helpful.

We were looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite. After being ignored for a good 20 minutes at another restaurant after being shown to our table, we stumbled upon the Focacceria less than 100 meters away. The menu was explained to us in detail. After we ordered, it didn't take long at all, and we received our two focaccia options. I have to say, switching restaurants was definitely the right decision. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and competent, and the service was very fast. Everything was just what you want when you only have a few hours in town. 👍👍👍👍👍🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Always perfect. I'll update this review in May 2026. Always top-notch. I've been coming here for ten years, and never once have the food, service, or ambiance left anything to be desired. It's the only place of its kind I frequent. BRAVISSIMO.

Focacceria Santoro is a guarantee of goodness and tradition. Perfectly fried pidoni and arancini, exceptional traditional focaccia, and interesting contemporary flavors (I recommend the sun-dried tomatoes with nduja and sun-dried tomato capuliato). The service is young and friendly; the inside seating is often too close together, and when the place is full, it's impossible to chat without raising your voice. Outside, the plastic patio is spartan, with its tablecloths and street-facing seating. They don't do justice to the quality of the products. I recommend takeout if you're looking for a more welcoming and comfortable place to eat.

After a race there at the sports hall, I quickly took a look at the reviews of this focacceria, and I must say that they are truthful, we were 6 adults and 4 children, the guy who took the order advised us how much focaccia to get and was really kind, without much waiting the focaccia was good, crunchy but at the same time soft, fresh ingredients, I recommend the classic Messina focaccia, if I return to Messina I will definitely stop there compliments to the Santoro focacceria

Everything was really good, from the focaccia to the rustici, especially the pistachio arancini. The guys, Orazio and Stefano, who take orders at the tables, are great. Best regards, Signora Maria...we'll see you soon.

13/07/2026: What a lovely find on Via Risorgimento. We dined here last night and were truly impressed by the quality of the pizzas. The dough is light and cooked to perfection, just how we like it. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, like finding single-serving sachets of extra virgin olive oil ready at the table. 13/07/2026: We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant on Via dei Mille. The quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite. We tried several dishes and were particularly impressed by the crispiness of the dough. The mushroom and salami pizza was cooked to perfection, with a truly remarkable balance of flavors. The service was friendly and the atmosphere very welcoming. We will definitely be back to try other specialties on the menu.
