Focacceria il Budego In Alba

I'm not questioning the food, which was decent; but the saleswoman asked me for €6. I gave her a €10 bill, which she refused because she didn't have any change. It was Sunday at 12:30 p.m., at the Alba white truffle market, so there were lots of people. She forced me to pay by credit card because she didn't have €4 to give me back! I find that shameful.

The best focaccia in Piedmont! A must-try if you're in Alba.

They've done a great job creating a typical image, but it's nothing more than a focacceria with slightly exaggerated prices: a slice of focaccia with olives costs €4. The product is standard, nothing special. A significant hygiene detail: anyone handling the food should wear gloves, even if they don't touch it. In short, it could be a very nice place with some price adjustments and more attentive service.

Delicious, convenient, and reasonably priced! A good option to keep visiting while enjoying your focaccia... or if you're feeling tired, they have tables available to eat there. Delicious flavors and friendly service!

I wasn't thrilled with the focaccia I ordered; the pizza was a little tastier, but very thin and greasy. Unfortunately, the prices for sandwiches, pizza slices, and focaccia aren't posted. You can eat in, weather permitting, as there's very little seating inside and benches and tables outside. The staff, however, were friendly. The cleanliness of the tables could use a little updating.

If you go late at night, you’ll get great focaccia and entertainment. It’s a crowded walk up window, but the line goes fast. And the dude and his wife (?) working the late shift are having as much fun as the customers. It’s fun and it’s good and not expensive!
