Flam Bar In Modena

Loved this place! It has two “sides” with different vibes/decor next door to each other but the same kitchen and menu (we asked to be sure). They were super welcoming and we ordered a little starter like a frittata that was so delicious we ordered more food. The tagliatelle ragu that I had and the tripes alla parmigiana that my husband had were excellent! It’s like the best home-cooked meal. Wine was also excellent and again vibe was very welcoming and cool.

A very, very nice place in the heart of Modena's city center—industrial style, with outdoor seating. We arrived before noon, opening time, and the owner inside—even though he was still preparing for the opening—still seated us and served us, even though we were early. We started with two medium craft beers, accompanied by very tasty toasted crostini. Along with the second round of beers, we were also served six pieces of whole-wheat gnocco fritto, which were very good. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Total bill was €20. Highly recommended, both for the quality of the product, the place itself, and the staff. We will definitely be back.
