Truly, truly excellent school. I attended three weeks of full-immersion courses, including bartending, coffee, and multidisciplinary courses. All the instructors are highly trained and convey a passion for what they do. The classes are engaging, incredibly interesting, and a perfect blend of theory and practice. They provide a solid foundation for starting out in this industry. You have the opportunity to learn so much, whether you're starting from scratch or not. Between the end of last month and the beginning of this month, I decided to take a barista and bartender course at Flair Academy, and it was a truly enriching experience. After a period of pause in my career to focus on my studies, I was looking for a program that would help me brush up on my skills. At this school, I found highly trained professionals who were deeply passionate about their subject matter. A special thanks goes to Claudio, Roberto, Giuseppe, and Leonardo (and all the other instructors): each specialized in a different field, always available, and never failing to bring a smile to your face between explanations. One of the school's strengths is precisely this convivial atmosphere: an environment that fosters contact and discussion between students and professionals. During the lessons, the motto is: practice, practice, and more PRACTICE! Just enough to avoid getting lost behind the counter. While the course provides a basic foundation, it's nonetheless comprehensive: in addition to stations that perfectly simulate a bar setup, we also covered the product, history, and culture of raw materials (spirits, coffee, techniques, etc.). I recommend this course to anyone who wants to take their first steps into this vast world, rich in nuances and aromas. I hope this experience will inspire reflection for those who read it. The bartending course is truly effective, well thought out, and well structured, with an excellent balance of practical and theoretical aspects, technical knowledge, and knowledge of the world of spirits. The instructors (I had firsthand experience with Claudio, Giuseppe, and Roberto) are knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly, and truly know how to spark interest in this world.
