Fish Away In Roma

We were passing by and noticed it, so we stopped for lunch. It was a great idea. We ordered appetizers and a first course, a set-price lunch menu, and a glass of wine. The ingredients were excellent and well-cooked. The service was very courteous and friendly. It was Saturday lunchtime, and the place was packed, so there was a slight wait. But good food takes time, and when you're eating out, you shouldn't be in too much of a rush. Even though it was busy, we were able to chat freely. Recommended.

The fish was very good and well-cooked. The lunch menu was very interesting, even though it's tied to their tasty, high-quality offerings. It was a pleasant discovery, and I'll be back.

Nicely decorated restaurant, very friendly staff, and excellent service. Delicious fish, well-made fried calamari (crispy and not greasy), excellent cod. Very carefully prepared dishes and fair prices for the quality.

In the Centocelle area and surrounding areas, #1... Exceptional dishes, excellent service, and top-notch raw seafood. I recommend it.

The quality of the ingredients is excellent. The fried calamari is well-balanced: well-fried, not greasy, and with just the right amount of salt. The octopus with chicory is very good: you can taste the quality of the ingredients. If I may offer a small suggestion, the presentation of the sour cream could be handled visually in a more organic way, as it was applied to the plate like mayonnaise on chips. Furthermore, the bitterness generated by the charred grilled octopus blended with that of the chicory, creating an imperfect balance: perhaps it would be useful to introduce an element that counteracts the bitterness, such as a contrasting acidic or sweet note (lemon, vinegar, a light sauce, or a touch of honey) to better balance the flavors. I would like to return to try the other options.

As for the food, everything was fine. It's a shame they didn't have fried food due to a problem with the fryer (that's what they told us). Furthermore, instead of changing my reservation, which I had made with a very popular app service, they cancelled it without telling me, so I couldn't take advantage of a benefit offered by the app.
