I have eaten delicious food in several places in Italy all week, but I think this is where I had the best meal. It was very cozy and incredibly tasty and the best part was that it came as a surprise. Don't be fooled by the exterior or the somewhat sober interior. The food is truly phenomenal and the service is incredibly friendly and helpful. We were seated among Italian families and that made the atmosphere excellent. The house wine was also delicious. Simple place with delicious Italian "Home Style" food, we came a second time after a first successful visit and annoyed by some 'better' restaurants.

The best meal of the trip for me! We ordered the tagliatelle al ragu and it was perfect, it tasted like home-cooked food. As a starter we ordered the anchovies, which were also delicious. A cozy, family-friendly place. I loved it!! Dinner for 2 people for 41 euros, including a glass of wine.

Delicious and fresh food, very good service and great value for money! Especially the primi with cavolo nero pesto were a dream!

Such rustic and warm feeling, owners were kind to let us walk-in when almost everything else was closed or booking-only during a Sunday.

You leave the tourism and are welcomed by the familiar and welcoming atmosphere of the owners, a niche of Tuscan flavours, it seemed to me like a small trattoria where the Sienese usually eat. Little choice, which focuses on quality and quantity, crostone with lard where there really was some, in other places in the center I ate them with a maximum of 2 small slices and then the first course... a particular but unique first course: the pici to the buristo that speaking with local people he has never even tasted, like the pajata in Rome so to speak. Mixed desserts, flask of house wine but always San Giovese, really intimate and at an excellent price. We had a really good time! Pearl and Damiano

Abbiamo pranzato qui con i nostri bambini. Cucina casalinga e tipica, scelta limitata ma ottima come a casa. Locale piccolo e accogliente, le signore super gentili. Vino della casa alla mescita, ottimo. Il posto è informale e vi potete fidare delle signore che cucinano. E un’osteria nel vero senso della parola. Prezzi giusti. Grazie alle gentili signore, torneremo presto!

Cena di coppia in questo locale che ti fa sentire le vibes di essere a casa. Solo che i piatti sono decisamente superiori a quelli che ti cucini a casa :D Una menzione speciale all'ossubuco che sembrava preso da un brontosauro e aveva un sapore divino! Primi anche superlativi, personale simpatico e prezzo in linea se non al di sotto del complessivo. Veramente complimenti!
