We stopped for a quick lunch on the way home from vacation. We found it by chance and everything exceeded our expectations. We recommend it.

Great local spot in Siena. We didn’t have a reservation for lunch and stumbled upon this place when walking around. Very fresh and tasty dishes. Would recommend the Pici.

A truly typical and authentic restaurant! A varied menu and excellent cuisine! A few steps from the center of Siena, but with the peace and quiet of a typical restaurant.. we ate at the tables outside and despite the 30 degrees and the red wine we were in heaven. Kind and helpful staff!

Great little place. Small menu which indicates that the dishes are done with care and with good ingredients. While I was there quite a lot of locals were there as well, I think that’s good sign too. Menu was in all italian but the staff was very helpful and nothing that Google Translate couldn’t do. Would come again.

Abbiamo cenato in questa osteria e siamo rimasti sorpresi per la qualità dei prodotti. Abbiamo preso un tagliere misto (costo 20 euro, ma salumi e formaggi davvero abbondanti), pici all'aglione e pollo alla contadina. Tutto davvero delizioso. Lo consigliamo. Meglio prenotare.

13/08/2025: Friendly staff, delicious food. We had an appetizer for two with Tuscan crostini, pici all'aglione, pici cacio e pepe, a tartare, the veal cheek, which I must say was delicious, and a Florentine steak, which, however, was a bit too fatty and, in my opinion, not perfectly cooked for the price. Overall, a great experience, and the restaurant, though small, is delightfully located next to a little church and in the heart of the village!
30/07/2025: We ordered everything from wild boar goulash to pici cacio e pepe to traditional lasagna. Everything was exceptionally good. Even the kids' fries were very good; they certainly looked handmade. The staff was very friendly and uncomplicated. The atmosphere, right in front of the church, was very cozy. The prices are very reasonable considering you're sitting right in the pedestrian zone in Castellini.

30/07/2025: Tuvimos una cena absolutamente fantástica en el restaurante Novecento y porque IT era tan grande que volvimos 2 días después. Ambas cenas fueron excelentes, probamos Caprese, Ravioli con ragout de pintadas, Filete, el ragout de jabalí y el segundo día el besugo y el secondi de pintadas. Para el desierto probamos Pavlova, Pana Cotta y Creme Brûlée. Cada plato era excelente en sí mismo y preparado con Rafinesse y estaba muy bien presentado. Desafortunadamente vamos a volver a casa, de lo contrario sin duda volveríamos un 3er día. Los precios eran justos. El servicio es muy atento y servicial. Sin duda una visita obligada cuando se encuentra en la región.
29/07/2025: We were here for a short two-day holiday. The cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff, the view, the nature, the breakfast were absolutely perfect. Everything was as it should be.
