We had pici all'aglione and gnocchi al ragù: truly excellent and authentic. The meatloaf was also excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and very pleasant. We'll remember it and will gladly return.

As soon as you enter this local restaurant, you can tell everything is going to be freshly cooked and home made. A small team of two or three women in the kitchen preparing local dishes like pici (with a great local pesto recipe) and crostini with toppings that melt in your mouth. And not expensive. Don't miss it if you are in Sienna, you will pay half the price of eating in the main square and have a great local experience.

A simple, homey trattoria in Siena, with fair prices for the excellent quality. The liver appetizer is delicious, the pici are highly recommended, and the sausage and braised meat are very authentic.

A true family restaurant! Great food and service, all locals visited, expect for us. Very accommodating with communication and ordering. My wife was congratulated for cleaning her plate with bread as is custom in Italy (Scarpetta) this made my wife's night as it was something she learned from her Italian grandmother! Update: we came back a second time and enjoyed the food even more. Added additional photos...

02/04/2026: As soon as you leave the restaurant, you're in the historic center. Welcoming and attentive to your needs. Beautiful and delicious dishes. I definitely recommend them! Prices are reasonable.
02/04/2026: We wanted a quick lunch break, and we found a piece of Tuscany. Attentive and friendly service, Serena S (little) was precise in presenting the dishes and recommending what to eat. Top-notch cuisine. I had an ossobuco, which has become part of my sensory memory. We will definitely be back.
