A heartwarming discovery. We stumbled upon the Fiordarancio gelateria by chance, drawn by the variety of flavors on display. Little did we know that shortly thereafter we would have one of the sweetest and most human experiences of recent times. Sadia, the owner, welcomed us: a sincere smile and a passion that was immediately evident. She told us about her gelato, made with genuine ingredients, carefully and lovingly selected, often locally sourced. The quality was evident at first taste: we had never tasted gelato this good in our lives. Impressed by the deliciousness and the atmosphere, we asked her if it would be possible to prepare a cake for our mother's birthday. At very short notice, Sadia didn't hold back. On the contrary. With a rare sweetness, she expertly advised us, suggesting seasonal flavors and perfect combinations. "There's only one mother; you have to do a good job," she told us. And that work wasn't just beautiful and delicious. It was done with love. The result? A wonderful cake that moved us and our mother. Care, beauty, and deliciousness: every detail was thoughtful and heartfelt. It's clear that Sadia doesn't just make gelato. She creates something more: experiences, memories, and emotions. The best ice creams from our various trips to Italy!!! A must-see "gastronomic" stop in Ferrara, about a 20-minute walk from the cathedral. And a wonderfully informative chat with the woman who makes her ice cream with love and without industrial chemicals. Excellent natural and original flavors, ice cream that doesn't melt in a minute despite the summer heat. Go for it!
