Fiocchi di Latte is a real gem in the heart of Matera for lovers of artisanal ice cream. Each flavor has an authentic flavor and the ingredients are fresh and quality. The place is nice and clean, and the staff is always friendly and available to give you some advice if you're undecided! I also really appreciate the attention to those with intolerances: there are lactose-free and gluten-free options, and it's not so obvious to find them good. Of all the ones I've tried, this is without a doubt my favorite ice cream shop!

I didn't try the ice cream but five stars for courtesy and availability they sold me milk on Sunday they were all closed and many had refused.

Simply delicious ice cream! At Fiocchi di Latte in Matera I found a perfect balance between quality, taste and hospitality. The creams are velvety, the fruity flavors are very fresh and intense, and you can feel that the ingredients are carefully selected. Special praise goes to the staff: kind, smiling and always available to recommend the right flavour, even when you're undecided in front of all those wonders. An obligatory stop if you are in the city, perhaps after a walk in the Sassi. I will definitely be back!

Obviously, due to the tourists, getting in is a challenge but the ice cream is good. It's worth waiting a few minutes. It also has very particular tastes.

Agriturismo Oasi Rupestre

04/12/2024: I was in Montescaglioso with a group and we had the pleasure of having lunch at the Rock Oasis. The experience was fantastic. The welcome was impeccable: the staff, in particular Stefano, was attentive, kind and ready to satisfy our every need. Lunch was excellent, with typical traditional Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The quiet and family atmosphere made the moment truly special. We also visited the surrounding area and the rooms of the farmhouse: simple, but with that touch of ''rusticity''. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic cuisine and a welcome that makes you feel at home. The icing on the cake was the large fireplace, further warming the Christmas atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

06/05/2025: We came across this restaurant, passing by it caught our attention... and I must say that the choice to have lunch there was more than right. An excellent restaurant from all points of view. Food, staff, location all perfect. We will certainly return to Matera to try other specialties in this sublime place. Compliments!!
