Fienile Fluò In Bologna

Very nice place, medium-high prices, but the dishes seem very well prepared. I was cold in the upstairs dining room, so I ate with my jacket on, so I'm giving the serving a 4. Braised cheeks for €25, very good.

We had lunch at this restaurant on a veranda warmed by a fireplace. An extra star for the excellent location and the beauty of the place, which, however, clash with the messy exterior and the lackluster interior. The menu is decent, but the selection of only regional wines is a bit limiting. A note on the staff: the person taking our orders needs to be more knowledgeable... they didn't list the off-menu items (which we would have gladly ordered) and, most importantly, we weren't given the slightest indication of the wines ("We have white or red" seems a bit lacking). Wines, especially if they're local, like in this case, need to be thoroughly explained; I might have even purchased a few bottles. The food preparation and quality are average, but I'd still recommend this place; with more attention to detail and care, it deserves a full 4 stars.

A well-kept and welcoming restaurant (we dined on the covered veranda in front of the glass window; the outdoor garden was lit and accessible, with a fire burning). Attentive, friendly service and exquisite dishes. A 5 out of 5, in my opinion, well-deserved.

Beautiful location with a view, but disappointing food and service. The tigelle and platters were underwhelming for the price, the sautéed vegetables were excellent and plentiful, the first course was below expectations, and the strawberry sorbet was excellent. One waiter was rude and rushed, while some of the waitresses, especially one of Filipino origin (or probably other origins), were very kind. Unfortunately, we won't be returning, nor do we recommend it.

A magical place on the hills outside Bologna. Attention to detail and cuisine, selected menu, few dishes but the atmosphere and context are worth a stop. Also for an aperitif at sunset.

Beautiful location on the hills of Bologna to taste something typical in a rural context. Good food, kind and friendly service. Good waiting times.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my dad's birthday. The view from the outdoor terrace is very beautiful and makes the experience pleasant. The food is good, even if it didn't particularly impress us. Unfortunately the service was very slow: we sat down at 1:30 pm and finished at 4 pm, with too long waits between courses and dishes served at different times. The staff seemed not very attentive, even if we appreciated the gesture of offering us dessert and putting a candle when we asked for it. Overall: great view, decent food, service to improve.

Fienile Fluò is one of the most suggestive places to enjoy an aperitif at sunset in Bologna. The view of the hills, the lights between the trees and the relaxed atmosphere make it truly unique. The food is carefully prepared and — no small thing — they prepared a gluten-free dish for me, with great attention and kindness. A treat that is not at all obvious! Excellent cocktails, interesting selection of wines and a super welcoming staff. Perfect for a summer evening surrounded by nature and good company. I will definitely return, maybe for dinner.

Very suggestive and relaxing place, surrounded by greenery. The waiter was prepared and kind, but the welcome was a bit snooty. The food was good, nothing exceptional, poor value for money. The dish of the day was much appreciated. The waiting times were a bit long, even though the place wasn't full. Excellent for a romantic dinner
