Booked with TheFork, only ordered first courses which turned out to be very good and at a fair price. The menu does not encourage you to try other dishes besides the first courses.

As for fish specialities place their rice with asparagi and salmone was pretty dry and bland. Pesto Senese was good, though. I'm happy to give them another chance, of course.

I have eaten in this restaurant twice and I find that the food is of good quality and well prepared, the environment is small but welcoming. We will be back!

Excellent value for money. The chef is good, even a little original in his dishes. Small place. If I have to find a flaw, the staff in the dining room are poor at speaking Italian... after all, in Siena there are mostly tourists now.

Subpar food, slow unresponsive service, even though it was nearly empty. Which should have been a warning sign. Was the worst meal we have had in Siena. Tables are very cramped together. But I guess not really a problem if it's not busy.

Food tasted good, price/performance was also good! Wine average. The tables outside are very narrow. The service was absolutely unmotivated and incompetent. Waited forever despite little customers.

23/07/2024: Unfortunately the place has lost its charm, mostly due to the impatient and unpleasant man serving the coffee, who also makes much weaker coffee than a year ago, and this is not just my opinion.
21/07/2024: Reservation made almost at the last minute, but luckily they had room, what can I say? Simply wonderful. Excellent welcome, spectacular food, highly professional and qualified staff. Excellent wine...

28/08/2024: Wow, we had lunch today at the Spadaforte pizza restaurant in the center of Siena and I have to say thanks to Luigi, a nice guy who knows how to both recommend their dishes and also welcome customers. Thanks from Giusy and Salvo and daughters from Palermo.
27/08/2024: The owner of the accommodation where we were guests recommended this restaurant to us. The lunch was really good and the service was impeccable. The prices are excellent for being in the heart of Piazza del Campo in Siena. The pici cacio e pepe and the platter are recommended but the rest is also excellent
