Located in the center of lower Modica, but in an alley that guarantees tranquility, it is a place furnished with simple elegance. Cozy, even romantic. The menu is constantly evolving, as is Francesca Barone's traditional and, at the same time, sparkling with imagination cuisine. Very young, without taboos but respectful of the seasonality and territoriality of tradition. In the dining room are sister Carla and her husband, who best manage the attentive service and a cellar full of surprises and distant harvests. Excellent success of the dishes and a quality/price ratio that is difficult to find elsewhere. The tasting menus leave ample freedom of choice and are extremely convenient. Very recommended!

Absolutely stunning dinner last night with my wife. We had a shorter version of a tasting menu and really should have gone with the longer one, since every dish was so beautiful, creative, thoughtful and delicious. Service was just as fantastic as well, our server recommended a phenomenal wine that we absolutely fall in loved with and would never discover otherwise. You should definitely go and eat here. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was absolutely one of our favorite meals we had in Sicily.

Amazing food, lovely ambiance and great service. This is a fine dining restaurant working with fresh local ingredients. They even make the limoncello with the lemons they grow! The pasta with bottarga and teh rissotto with prawns were incredible, the Olive Oil they served with bread is the best that I think I will ever try. I would order mostly pasta dishes as opposed to their standalone fresh fish just because the pasta plates are a true standout. Recommended 200%

I think I'm not wrong in saying that, probably, VERY probably, this is one of the best restaurants I've tried... incredible location, excellent cuisine, friendliness of the staff and a lot of competence. DON'T GO THERE: it could be addictive. Excellent value for money.

In questa estate siracusana- ragusana la considero la migliore esperienza culinaria vissuta , unitamente a quella presso Villadorata di Noto . Ho scelto un percorso forse anomalo visto il periodo estivo ….spinta dalla curiosità di provare i piatti a base di “ interiora”: cuore come antipasto e un doppio secondo ( trippa con salsa verde e formaggio ragusano …. Diaframma con salsa speziata e anguria marinata) ! Dire che sono rimasta entusiasta e’ riduttivo . Il cuore presentato come un carpaccio con pasta di cacao e friggitello era estremamente delicato ! Il diaframma in salsa speziata mi ha trasportato in India e mi ha ricordato alcune pietanze indiane … infine la trippa ha rappresentato il culmine del piacere ! La trippa morbida e avvolgente veniva rafforzata dalla grinta del formaggio e nel contempo resa più fresca dalla salsa verde … nessun elemento sovrastava l’altro ! Eccellente ! Servizio cordiale che ha ben raccontato i piatti in uscita . Chef spettacolare! Tornerò sicuramente
