Dishes refined in presentation but not in taste which did not satisfy us

We were the only ones there on Monday. I think it's unfair because the place deserves to be full. Great food, service and a nice quiet terrace. They speak English and are very customer-oriented. Fine dining, but the food is still food and hasn't lost touch with the local cuisine. Hurry before they get a star and become too expensive)

Quite a disappointing meal (one of our last after a week spent in Modica). Food was trying too hard to be fusion / unique, but wound up being basic. One waiter to six tables (while the rest of the place was empty) resulted in really challenged service (despite his best efforts and lovely demeanor) over two hours. We wound up taking our secondi to go out of frustration. Perhaps the management or chef have changed since prior reviews, because I know other guests were similarly underwhelmed.

A wonderful find, hidden at the end of a small alley on the first floor. As surprising as the entrance was, the reception was as friendly and the food was as stunning. The interpretation and reinvention of the dishes and the attention with which we were treated were incomparable. We left very happy and would come back at any time.

His mise en place is beautiful, a truly remarkable visual delicacy. Present, proactive, exhaustive service, prepared especially in the verbal approach towards foreign customers. Perfect value for money, obviously for the standards compared to gourmet level venues. Internal, chic location, where every single piece of furniture denotes elegant and targeted refinement. Un locale elegante ma allo stesso tempo informale, uno staff giovane e pieno di energia, una scelta gastronomica originalissima. I piatti nascono da ingredienti locali e stagionali, per "contaminarsi" di contemporaneità e di mille tendenze, con un risultato finale che ovviamente valorizza il territorio ma fa anche viaggiare lontano. La lettura del menu è molto intrigante, perché ogni piatto viene descritto solo coi suoi 3/4 ingredienti base, costringendo a fare uno sforzo per immaginare cosa verrà fuori nel piatto, e che sapore avrà la combinazione di tali elementi. A chi pensasse che il mio giudizio non è sincero, dico solo che questa proposta è un unicum, non solo in questa città; dopo avere spulciato tutti i ristoranti di Modica, ho scelto questo perché non aveva nulla di comparabile, consapevole di fare una scommessa. Che alla fine è stata vinta.

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day evening - there was even a special menu for the occasion. Service, wine and food were great in quality and creativity.
