Good food and excellent service

The place is very small, charming, and well-kept, giving it a very homey feel: we sat on the veranda, and it was very comfortable, enclosed, without any drafts. To start, we had an appetizer for two, which included meatballs and parmigiana, as well as other items. They were all delicious, not the usual appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, but delicious and filling. The highlights were definitely the first courses: both the trofie with chickpeas, walnuts, dried tomatoes, and saffron, and the buffalo mozzarella-filled ravioli with ragù were excellent. We would have liked to try the second courses as well, but we were already very full and only had room for dessert: an apple tart and an orange and caramel tiramisu. The latter surprised me, not too sweet and fresh. To finish, they offered complimentary wine-flavored biscuits. The two young men serving were very kind. The final price was €62, absolutely more than fair for what we ate and the portions. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is very elegant and intimate, with about 12 tables; the Christmas-themed decor was pleasant and well executed. The staff was very kind and friendly, demonstrating professionalism and customer service. Our waitress provided a clear and helpful explanation of the day's specials. A particularly positive aspect is the attention to dietary needs: almost the entire menu is gluten-free, including the first courses. As for the main courses, we shared a double portion of the beef tartare, which was fabulous. We both opted for a first course, fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and cacio e pepe, and shared a beef parcel with caciocavallo and porcini mushrooms for the second course. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, especially the mushrooms. The gluten-free fettuccine was slightly overcooked, but the overall flavor was still very good. The dining experience is centered around traditional Roman cuisine. We appreciated the complimentary digestif. Overall, the experience was very positive and the place is recommended, especially for those who need gluten-free options.

Fantastic experience...excellent food, impeccable service, and a peaceful atmosphere...it feels like home...My husband and I discovered it in September, where we celebrated our wedding anniversary, and it immediately won our hearts...since then, it has become our go-to restaurant for our special occasions.

A place perfectly suited to its name! Everything was prepared and served with care, truly homemade. We loved everything, the desserts were exceptional, and we'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. 😍

Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Castelli Romani! Generous portions that don't compromise the quality of the dishes, which are always tasty and varied. You can sense the attention and dedication of the entire staff, and you feel pampered both in your palate and your heart. The meatballs are amazing!! As a regular customer for years, I've tried almost the entire menu (but keep in mind that they're always adding to it), and honestly, I have a hard time choosing a favorite because everything is truly delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the place is clean and well-kept! Highly recommended!
