This was by FAR the best gelato I had my entire trip! And as someone gluten free, having a super tasty gluten free cone made it all the better. The pistachio and straciatella were super creamy and perfectly flavored. I do wish the pistachio had been a bit stronger, I found it to be a little mild, but it was still incredible. The employees were all very friendly. They always ask if you want whipped cream on top too! Which I did not experience at any other gelato shop. Overall, PLEASE make your way here if you’re staying in Rome, gluten free or not. I wish I could take it back to America with me!

Strolling through Trastevere with my family, I found this little place with high-quality gelato, a wide variety of fruit flavors and more, including lactose-free, gluten-free, and other intolerance-friendly options, clearly labeled. The staff was very welcoming. I highly recommend it.

A small artisanal gelato shop in the Trastevere area with a wide selection of flavors, many of which are creative and unique. The two flavors I tried were very good and made me want to try more. Recommended if you're in the area.

Having recently moved to Trastevere for work, I ordered a basil, walnut, honey, and Madagascar chocolate cone, and two take-away milkshakes for my kids. The experience was incredibly positive, thanks in part to the friendly staff: my new favorite gelateria. Special thanks go to Alessia, who patiently and kindly helped me choose the flavors, and Davide, with whom I had a lovely chat while he was making the milkshakes. I'll be back for a tub! Bye, thanks!

We stayed at an Air BnB up the street from this place and visited pretty much every day. The gelato is delicious and you simply cannot beat the prices. We had gelato at another place in Rome while out sightseeing for triple the price and we so disappointed. After that, we stuck to waiting for our gelato fix until we were closer to out home away from home. The staff was always friendly to locals and tourists alike. Wonderful gem!

It's definitely worth it! The ice cream flavors are varied and different, I recommend the thumbelina and punch perfect (one with white wine). The staff is very friendly. Suitable for celiacs!

The Hive Rooftop Restaurant

16/07/2025: My sister and I have stayed there 3 times during the months of June. Staff extremely helpful and great all round.
14/07/2025: Great hotel. I went there early this year with a couple of friends and really enjoyed our stay. The roof top restaurant was definitely a highlight.

Riverside

29/06/2025: Restaurant - Pub with live music. Essential but tidy furnishings and with references to the musical environment, slightly low lighting but probably to maintain the distance from the stage where live music is performed. The place is located in a basement where perhaps it was organized as a garage, but it also has a gazebo outside. We ate an excellent Roman pinsa and a good draft beer. The menu is mainly focused on drinks but there are also choices of appetizers, first courses and second courses, side dishes and desserts. The service in the room is attentive, fast and made up of young people. Average prices. It also has a Wifi connection for customers.
16/05/2025: How beautiful is the Riverside!!! We were welcomed with kindness and friendliness. Excellent food and live music always appreciated. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
