A beautiful hotel in the public areas. The bar a is amazing. The rooms are pretty plain, but large for Italian standards. Excellent food at breakfast. I would stay here again.

Qualified and extremely courteous staff. Special thanks to Mr. Aldo for his professionalism, helpfulness, and kindness during the use of the conference room for training activities. An added value that makes all the difference.

A very well appointed and lovely hotel, but the Staff are exceptional! I lost my cell phone and she made a local call for me that was very important. They are very helpful and went above and beyond to help me after a 22 hour plus day. Francesca and front desk staff are stellar A+ I will be back for another stay, just for the front desk staff👍 Dining delicious and bar maid was also exceptional.

The hotel is very close to the train station, yet the room is quiet. Delicious, varied breakfasts. There are vegetables, mozzarella, cheeses, Italian cold cuts, hot sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, sweet pastries, juices, yogurts, and fruit. Nothing is missing. The room has towels changed daily, is spotlessly clean, and includes shower gel, shampoo, and a hairdryer. The only downside is the extra charge for water in the fridge; I had no idea a 4-star hotel would charge for water. We tried the restaurant once for dinner. It was nice, but tasteless and very expensive. Because of the proximity to the train station and the delicious breakfasts, I think I'll be back.

The welcome and lobby were truly top-notch. It's a shame about the rooms, which weren't up to par with the welcome they offered. They were spotless, but could use some updating. The welcome cocktail was top-notch!

We had lunch at the Hotel Excelsior in Bari for New Year's Eve and were truly satisfied. The dining room is elegant, bright, and well-organized, perfect for a festive lunch in a refined setting. The menu was excellent: tasty dishes, beautifully presented, and served impeccably. Special thanks to Francesco, always professional, attentive, and helpful. His courtesy made the experience even more enjoyable. The service, quality, and atmosphere lived up to expectations. I recommend the Hotel Excelsior to anyone looking for truly attentive service. Great location near the train station and therefore the old town. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was also excellent.

Unfortunately, I have to give it three stars because, while the hotel certainly has excellent strengths, the soundproofing in the rooms is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel boasting four stars. You can hear the voices of people in neighboring rooms quietly talking. But something like this has happened. Otherwise, everything was fine: the staff, breakfast, and location. But the rooms, definitely not four-star.

​My stay at the Hotel Excelsior in Bari was fantastic! The hotel has a fantastic location, and the rooms are spacious, modern, and sparkling clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful – you can feel they care about every guest. A delicious breakfast is a plus, giving you energy for a full day of sightseeing. It's the perfect place to relax in the heart of Puglia. I will definitely be back! Despite its central location, the rooms are very quiet and peaceful, guaranteeing a good night's sleep after long walks through the city's winding streets. I highly recommend it!
