Family Nest In Monte di procida

24/02/2025: A lovely and beautiful hotel in an excellent location near Sorrento. The town itself is sleepy and the pier is empty because of winter. I took a single room which was very small and had a not so pleasant smell but it was fine and there is a very nice view from the balcony. Good breakfast (I only ate an egg, tomato and bread because of kosher) the manager of the dining room is a great person, welcoming and professional. At the reception the officials are fine. All in all a very positive experience.

24/02/2025: I often travel throughout Italy and beyond, so I can allow myself to say that everything is almost perfect, very fast room service, requests are immediately satisfied, classy dining room staff so I felt like spontaneously wanting to give tips, the only discordant note but which could easily be fixed are the courses, as I said before I travel around a lot and due to an intolerance to any type of oil I am forced to eat without it, I requested warmed rice with plenty of boiled fish so without having any problems with the price as long as it was plentiful and I was satisfied presented 30 grams of rice without salt with it, I'm not mistaken, 20 grams of sea bass which has little to do with the rice, usually my requests in whatever region I go are presented with large plates of rice covered with calamari, scampi, prawns and much more, I think the cuisine needs to be tidied up a little with the portions, also because as Campanians we are used to large portions, the same happened at lunch I asked for a caprese and specified buffalo mozzarella and I was given presented with 50 grams of fior di latte and a chopped tomato, the same happened to my partner who took various dishes including meat and it was a taste, overall everything was perfect, as I said before, friendliness, hospitality, speed of management
