We had a delightful 2 week stay at Exil di Nuovo. I would love to go back there and just stay forever! Giovanni, Angelo, and the entire Exil family are truly amazing and I miss them terribly since I am back in the USA. The rooms are lovely, very clean, and air conditioned with comfortable beds. There are wonderful amenities such as WiFi, mini fridge, and balcony. The food is absolutely spectacular!! I was so impressed with the freshness and beauty of each plate of food we were served. I definitely had some of the best food of my life while at Exil! The pasta with garlic sauce and chili oil was amazing in its simplicity and there was a roasted chicken dish that had unimaginable depth of flavor! Wow! The grounds at the hotel are beautifully kept; verdant with fruit, herbs, and flowers. The pool and lounge chairs are perfect for a relaxing afternoon! I loved sitting in the shade of the glorious grape vines and olive tree. I’m so sad that I will miss olive harvesting season, which Giovanni taught me, will be in October. Exil di Nuovo is situated a short walk from the beautiful beach and pleasant shops! My daughter was a student at the Fini Dance Studio just a block away during the Summer Dance Festival, and she had such a wonderful time! We were truly blessed to be able to visit Villapiana and to get to stay at the most welcoming place we have ever been, the Exil di Nuovo. I fervently hope to go back there someday. If you’re in Villapiana Lido, don’t miss this place, it’s the heart and soul of the beach.
