Exedra New In Scorrano

I was very enthusiastic about this osteria. I finally ate some truly excellent traditional Salento food, such as broad beans and chicory, and sagne incannulate with ricotta forte. For dessert, a delicious spumone—I hadn't had one like it in years! The owner was very kind and discreet. I highly recommend it!

We really wanted to find a simple, honest osteria with delicious, homemade food. Nothing fancy, nothing instagramable (even though Exedra made it into the feed :)) that distracts from a disappointing food experience. It took us some days but we found it here, at Osteria Exedra. The patron doesn't speak english, we don't speak italian but if you're a kind, open person, you understand each other anyway, with hands, feet, eye contact and maybe some google translation. We came back a second time in fact. Very nice staff, great pasta, the best bruschetta i ever had. Highly recommendend.

A place you don't expect, with a single operator who does everything from the cash register to the dining room, a nice place but nothing special, but when the first courses arrive and there the enjoyment comes: truly good and not Spartan dishes, also the second courses are also very good. Then the surprise is the price: very affordable costs, it was a good day for my stomach and for my pocket.

A true gem of tradition! We discovered this osteria almost by chance, but it was one of the best gastronomic surprises we've had in recent memory. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a family feel that makes you feel instantly at home. The menu is a tribute to traditional cuisine, with simple dishes yet meticulously crafted. We sampled (including dishes such as tortellini in broth, sliced ​​beef, and homemade tiramisu) and they were all exceptional: authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The service was impeccable: kind, professional, and always smiling. The staff expertly recommends both the daily specials and the matching wines. The value for money is truly excellent. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine gastronomic experience, without frills but with a lot of heart.

We stumbled upon this osteria by chance; we needed lunch and didn't feel like wandering around. As often happens on these occasions, we couldn't have found a better place. It's an old-fashioned osteria, with few frills, but well-kept and clean. Its real strength is the deliciousness and authenticity of the dishes. Everything is delicious, from the appetizers, made with the highest quality ingredients, to the pasta, cooked to perfection. The dishes are generous, but so good that it's impossible not to finish them. The desserts are also top-notch. The host, Gianluca, is discreet and truly kind; he explained the dishes to us with patience and expertise. We had such a great time that we returned the same evening, and our first impressions were fully confirmed. Excellent value for money.
