Yesterday, for the first time, I went to dinner at Osteria dei Mondin. The restaurant is very welcoming and intimate, as there are only a few seats. The manager was super attentive and extremely friendly in her service. Now, let's get to the most important part: the menu. There are various options, both seafood and meat. I opted for the tasting menu, which includes: an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert of your choice from the daily menu. I loved everything I ate, and I was pleasantly surprised not only by the well-balanced and harmonious flavors, but especially by the presentation. I definitely fell in love with the egg with Parmesan cream, pears, and licorice. The combination of the various ingredients was truly exceptional. The ricotta and asparagus ravioli with saffron and mushrooms were also very good, as was the veal fillet with cheese. I was pleasantly surprised by the pistachio crema catalana, which was truly delicious (I would have gladly eaten another). Highly recommended for an intimate evening with a varied and delicious menu.

In every dish, you can sense that behind the flavor lies a great deal of study and intuition in combining ingredients. A very pleasant surprise.
