Probably the best meal we had in Napoli - the photos don’t do it justice. Everything was cooked perfectly with so much flavour! The pasta Genovese was a standout (as was the lemon tart).

Most of the bad reviews you'll read are from Americans expecting the staff to crawl on their hands and knees to welcome them. If you make an effort to say hello, please and thank you in Italian they will be more than nice. I do not care if the server frowns, he was very professional, and brought us delicious food.
Speaking of the food, I had the bean and cuttlefish soup and it was out of this world. Naples has good seafood but this was the best I had on my trip. The pricing is extremely reasonable for the quality of the food and the comfort of the place.
You can tell it's worth going because locals eat there and recommend it.

A true gem of Neapolitan dining. The owners are very kind and you can tell they have been in the restaurant business for decades by the hyper polite way they treat others. The food is excellent and sincere, without frills. A real treat. Highly recommended.

We had an okay experience at Ristorante Europeo Mattozzi. The food and service were decent. We enjoyed the starter options, and they had a good selection of desserts. The restaurant was very busy and quite loud, which made it a bit hard to relax. Overall, a reasonable spot but nothing exceptional.
