Idyllic setting, delicious food, but the waiter was arrogant, almost contemptuous.

Attentive staff, great place to view Mt Etna

The place is beautiful but the rest is not level if you want a nice view it's good but the food is average

The ravioli were undercooked. The white fish tartare was tasteless and slimy (it looked like a brain). The service was slow. On the other hand, the view of Etna was extraordinary.

First of all, the atmosphere and location, especially the views, are top notch and absolutely justify the higher prices. Since we only stopped by for drinks, I can’t comment on the food. The drinks were good, with some complimentary snacks included, and no coperto was charged. Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite live up to the premium setting and pricing. We were largely ignored, and the few interactions we had felt almost rude. It gave the impression that, unless you’re ordering an expensive meal, you’re not a priority. Most of the good tables are understandably reserved for dinner, which is completely fair, as long as all guests are treated with the same level of courtesy. That said, we still had a great sundowner and really enjoyed the view.

I was looking for a chic rooftop bar in Catania and I found it in Etnea.

Mi avevano parlato bene di questo posto e allora ho deciso di fare aperitivo, una bella terrazza con un bella vista su via etnea e con l etna sullo sfondo. Grazie a Luca per la gentilezza e la professionalità. Abbiamo bevuto un buonissimo cosmopolitan e un drink con puree fresche davvero ottimo. Consigliato!
