Very interesting place in the historic center of Barletta that offers dishes that preserve traditional ingredients and knowledge, enriched by the use of spices and innovative preparation methods. The manager is very friendly and does his best to express the utmost care for the customer and the philosophy of the place. The latter is a place of true relaxation, even on evenings characterized by lively nightlife outside, I believe it is unique and deserves a visit to fully understand it. The prices are in line with those of the area but, embracing different proposals, you can easily choose the most appropriate dish for your hunger and your availability. It is essential to try the bread produced by them.

“La farina 0 qui non entra”! La risposta del titolare alla mia richiesta di avere pane con farine non raffinate: musica per le mie orecchie !!! La filosofia del locale è coniugare il buon cibo salutare con l’arte (tele e terracotta realizzate dal titolare arredano l’interno), con alcuni strumenti musicali che spero in alta stagione siano utilizzati per accompagnare le serate estive. Il pane di orzo (utilizzato per i crostini) è semplicemente straordinario!!!

It's not a restaurant, it's not a pub. It is a very welcoming place where you can taste simple and genuine dishes. These are traditional Apulian dishes such as orecchiette, legume soups, crostini seasoned with dried tomatoes or wild boar mortadella. The service and cuisine are impeccable in terms of friendliness and friendliness.

Welcoming environment, kind and young service, exceptional food, I recommend the mushroom trofie and the suckling pig. The only flaw was the slightly slow service given that there were only two people managing the whole place, maybe a third person in the kitchen wouldn't hurt.

Il posto è super tranquillo, si mangia benissimo e le persone che ci lavorano sono davvero spettacolari.
Ti sembrerà di viaggiare nel tempo, riscoprirai i ritmi lenti del passato, assaporando gustosi prodotti locali e vivendo momenti felici con amici vecchi e nuovi. E qui per il telefono non c’è campo.

Beautiful alternative place run by a young, close-knit and kind couple. The cuisine is excellent, focused on the flavors of the past, offered with authenticity and freshness, with particular attention to the hand-made bread and pasta dough, and to care for the environment (the activity is plastic free). The 12th century venue is full of a strong artistic and musical identity, from the paintings, books and instruments on display to the jazz music in the background. What can I say, a gastronomic dimension that goes against the grain and is rare, with a taste of home, but a subversive nature. We will be back!
