Occupying a prime spot right at the top end of the peninsula this is very handy if you're visiting the Grotte a vast Roman ruined villa across from the hotel. We had antipasti for lunch which was well above standard fare. The burrata and anchovies was excellent (though I would have loved a few more anchovies!), as was the crudo e melone. Service a little lax and on the pricey side but the location and food outweighed that.

Naja. Irgendwie haben wir uns mehr versprochen. Die Bilder waren alle von besonderen Gelegenheiten und nicht wirklich der Alltag. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber nicht wirklich besonders.
Der Service hatte keinen guten Tag. Zweimal eine Bestellung falsch aufgenommen und das Essen war auch nicht vollendet zubereitet. So ein Ort muss einfach besser in Szene gesetzt werden. Es fängt irgendwie schon bei dem Mobiliar an. Oldschool und zog sich wie ein roter Faden durch. Eine 3 von 5!

Service is mediocre. Other guests got some chips etc with their drinks and we didn't. Why? And there was hardly a friendly face left. Decided not to eat there either. After a long wait, we walked inside to pay.

Location che parla da sola…grotte di Catullo da una parte e lago dall’altro, circondati dagli ulivi.
Materie prime ottime, pesce crudo freschissimo, piatti sublimi.

The restaurant setting is beautiful. Between olive trees. If you dine there you will see the sunset overlooking the lake.

Very fine and elegant location. Attentive and courteous service. Starters and first courses not particularly appreciated. Prices from a tourist location. 2 glasses of wine offered on the house.
