After my third try, I have to say this last one could have been better. Eggplant is almost out of season in November, and the flavors fade. As for the ice cream, please tell her it's a stick, otherwise we'd expect something else.

I learned about this restaurant thanks to my girlfriend, so I decided to take her (I'm an omnivore, she's a vegetarian). The place has a very unique, minimalist style, creating, in my opinion, a beautiful feeling of a home left unfinished. The bathroom is super clean and welcoming, and they've provided customers with simple yet unexpected treats that make it extremely original. As for the cuisine, well, there's not much to say. You can tell that behind every single dish there were hours of work and study to recreate the various combinations, which in my opinion are phenomenal. It's a constant play on combining tradition and modernity, not only in the presentation of the dish but also in the preparation itself... try it and believe it. The staff is exceptional, very professional yet very approachable, perfect for a restaurant like this, and I must say they really made us feel at home. Finally, I'd say the value for money was excellent. We opted for the à la carte menu and each sampled a course, from appetizers to dessert. The price was more than fair and perfectly balanced for the quantity, but above all, the quality of the dishes. Highly recommended.

An excellent restaurant, with dishes full of unexpected flavors, never dull or repetitive. A must-try if you appreciate fine dining.

Very interesting dishes and exceptionally courteous staff. It's a sensory experience, so don't expect Bud Spencer-style bean stew. Precisely because of the refined cuisine, it's best to ask for a glass of wine (unless you're familiar with the dish) with each course, as a single bottle may not be versatile enough to accompany the entire meal.

A small haven in the heart of Modena for vegan cuisine lovers. Impeccable service, a welcoming atmosphere, a charming and well-designed space with attention to detail (perhaps a little dark, but that's just my personal impression), meticulously clean bathrooms, a fairly varied selection, delicious dishes... and you leave feeling full, satisfied, and content.

This was our first time at ERBAVOGLIO, so we opted for the six-course tasting menu, accompanied by a tasting of three paired glasses of wine—a different glass for every two courses. Before booking, I learned about the project through social media, and I must say my high expectations were exceeded. This restaurant is truly exceptional; it surprises you with its simple ingredients, cooked differently, and unusual pairings. There's a lot of research, yet tradition is evident on the palate. The tortellini are incredible—compliments to the pasta maker! The pasta was perfect, and the size was small, truly exceptional. The vegetables were delicious. I'd love to dine like this every night! The atmosphere is welcoming, with soft lighting and sound-absorbing panels on the ceiling and under the tables! If the food wins you over, the service is certainly what makes you hope to return soon: professional, never intrusive, but at the same time smiling and ready to tell you about Erbavoglio. You can sense an atmosphere brimming with positivity. The wine list is intriguing, with a focus on small biodynamic wineries. You can't go wrong with the recommendations. The price is high, but I consider it appropriate for the experience and the quality offered. There's parking nearby, but it's best not to arrive at the last minute because searching, especially on weekends, could take a few minutes. The menu changes seasonally; I'll definitely be back in late autumn to try something different from what I tried in mid-September.

Everything was perfect, highly recommended. Also suitable for people with celiac disease. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the service is top-notch!

Fantastic experience, 5 stars are not enough

Oramai sono alcuni anni che ci ritagliamo qualche coccola culinaria da Erbavoglio...ma questa volta davvero abbiamo avuto il piacere di vivere un viaggio meraviglioso...facendoci trascinare da alcune prelibatezze davvero uniche in cui sapori, arte, maestria, sperimentazioni rendono la cucina vegetale davvero speciale! La crescita di Fabio Vandelli ed Erbavoglio è evidente e nella speranza che presto arrivino i giusti riconoscimenti....ci vediamo questo inverno!!!

Adoro questo ristorante. La cucina pazzesca (sapori sublimati che restano impressi ben oltre il momento della cena), la cura attentissima nel servizio e l'ambiente confortevole e dal bellissimo design ne fanno uno dei miei preferiti a Modena!
