Very interesting dishes and exceptionally courteous staff. It's a sensory experience, so don't expect Bud Spencer-style bean stew. Precisely because of the refined cuisine, it's best to ask for a glass of wine (unless you're familiar with the dish) with each course, as a single bottle may not be versatile enough to accompany the entire meal.

A small haven in the heart of Modena for vegan cuisine lovers. Impeccable service, a welcoming atmosphere, a charming and well-designed space with attention to detail (perhaps a little dark, but that's just my personal impression), meticulously clean bathrooms, a fairly varied selection, delicious dishes... and you leave feeling full, satisfied, and content.

Vegetarian or not, this restaurant is excellent. Unexpected dishes that delight the eye and then the palate. The ambiance has been significantly improved since soundproofing. The service is professional and never intrusive. The bread is special! Interesting wine list with reasonable markups. Prices are appropriate for the experience and quality. Highly recommended.

Let's just say I expected more. I went there a few months ago, on a Sunday for lunch without a reservation. The place was packed, so I found myself facing the kitchen door, at the table to the right as soon as I entered. The food was exceptional, especially the tortellini, which were truly amazing. The vegetables in every dish were cooked to perfection. What didn't I like? The atmosphere. Truly depressing. Like a post-marital argument. Anyway, I highly recommend a visit. Hoping for a reconciliation. :D

Anyone who reads my reviews knows it. I'm not an easy customer. That's why I always include the "problematic customer" factor in the "sum" of my experience. You have to be honest, and I am. I'm a pain in the ass. If the place that welcomes me is kind, despite the objective difficulty of dealing with me, I can only praise and thank them.
I was won over by the staff's helpfulness and their willingness to welcome customers. I can only give top marks for the service.
I respect those who strive to find their own path, those who do research, those who study flavorful experiences that respect the historical and environmental context in which they live. There's all this in Erba Voglio's cuisine. It's not just smoke (grilled food is their strong point), there's much more. I wasn't convinced by the dessert, but that's just a matter of personal preference. I'm a chocolate lover, and when it's gone, I'm not celebrating. 😁

I've been coming to this restaurant once or twice a year since it opened.
Years ago, there was a wide choice of menus, and you could actually try sophisticated vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Now, the menu is limited to three courses per service, with prices that, in my opinion, aren't justified by the quality of the ingredients.
Not even in the most reputable restaurants have I found glasses of Croatian wine for €9 each, with portions that are significantly lower than they should be. They don't even bring breadsticks to the table anymore, and to mop up the sauce from your plate, they've brought a single slice of bread.
Basically, you eat and drink very little and spend too much.
The girl serving your table may be friendly and competent, but going to the cashier and spending €120 for two for an eggplant, peas, two plates of tortellini, and a glass of wine (just a finger) isn't fun.
We won't be returning.

A culinary experience to be had, even for non-vegetarians. A place with attention to detail that helps create a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff, attentive to every need of the customer and who manages to convey the history and uniqueness of each dish and ingredient.
Food with defined, evocative and perfectly matched flavors, well studied, cooked extraordinarily and presented very well.

A pranzo di domenica con le mie figlie, abbiamo optato per le 5 portate scelte dallo chef. Piatti preparati con molta cura e ricerca. Vengono serviti accompagnati dall’esposizione degli ingredienti e tipo di preparazione. Il servizio ottimo, nessuna attesa per il tavolo e fra una portata e l’altra, tutto nei giusti tempo. Consigliatissimo, anche per non vegetariani e per chi è alla ricerca di nuove esperienze culinarie.

In un mondo emiliano di specialità di carne e cucina grassa (nel senso positivo del termine, ne sono un amante), questa stella eccelle nella varietà del menu, nella qualità dei prodotti, e nella creatività delle proposte. E' stata una meravigliosa scoperta, che sto continuando a consigliare e dove tornerò presto.
