My family and I spent three days in Rome and were fortunate enough to have lunch at this fantastic restaurant. Traditional Roman cuisine, accompanied by a friendly and warm welcome from the owner and his staff. We'll be back! I highly recommend it.

I asked beforehand if osso bucco is made according to the classic recipe in red wine, I was confirmed, then I was brought a piece of meat that was insufficiently cooked, without sauce, without wine but with peas! When I challenged the dish, I was told by the same waitress that this was actually osso bucco. I do not recommend it!

This restaurant is a true hidden gem near Piazza Navona. Authentic, warm, and full of character. We started with courgette flowers and Sorrento eggplant, both light, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For mains, we had the fettuccine alla Bolognese and a pasta with bacon, cheese, and artichokes, every bite was rich in flavor and deeply satisfying. You can truly taste the quality and care in every dish. To finish, we had their tiramisu, which was just the right balance of creamy, airy, and indulgent. It was the perfect ending to what was probably the best lunch we had during our trip to Rome. A special shoutout to the wonderful waitress who took such great care of us, attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. Her service added an extra layer of warmth to an already fantastic experience. If you’re in Rome and looking for a meal that feels both authentically Roman and lovingly prepared, Er Polpetta is an absolute must. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The food is good but not exceptional, there's always room for improvement.

A nice place just steps from Piazza Navona. The carbonara and amatriciana are very good, and the staff is very friendly. I recommend it.

What could be better than a good plate (or rather, a pan) of pasta after a long walk around Rome? The restaurant offers a wide selection of traditional Roman dishes. We tried two different types of pasta, both delicious! Definitely above average for traditional tourist restaurants in the area. The price is more than fair for the quality, and the service is helpful and fast. Highly recommended!

Great experience, every time I come to Rome I come here for carbonara. I had their meatballs for the first time this weekend and they are absolutely delicious!

Este es un restaurante encantador cerca de Piazza Navona, nos alojamos cerca por una semana y comimos aquí dos veces que era tan bueno. Buena elección de pizzas y pastas para los niños, pero es mejor conocido por la amplia gama de opciones de albóndigas en el menú, y las patatas asadas como acompañamiento estaba perfectamente cocinado. El personal era amable y el ambiente era genial!

Personale simpatico, cortese e rapido nel servizio. Ottima cena: mezze maniche all'amatriciana e alla gricia, polpette di pollo e di pesce, carciofo alla giudia, calice di chianti. Porzioni enormi e di qualità . Prezzo medio basso. Da non perdere.
