They have a speciality pasta that will rock your socks off. Has a truffle oil which you can definitely appreciate. WOW!z delicious. Creamy white cheese pasta the way you hope it will be but better. Thank you for having us. Prices are excellent and the food will not disappoint. As a traveler I always recommend on asking for their recommendations. 10/10. They had a bone steak that was SIZZILING of the plate which I can assume it is amazing. Price for it is actually average for the city. This might be the under rated restaurant of Rome. Please definitely check it out. amazing quality for sure !!!

While walking down the laneway we were invited in for dinner at El Faciolaro while on a trip to Rome. The meal was fantastic and the service was exceptional! We had the calamari, lamb, steak with mushrooms, creamy fettuccine and spaghetti and meatballs. Pasta was freshly made, the meat was tender and perfectly cooked. And the tiramisu to finish off was sooo good. I definitely recommend stopping by for dinner. You won't be disappointed! I would absolutely go back!

The waiters were super friendly with tourists. They spoke fluent French, made jokes, etc. Very reasonable prices and very good food. There weren't many options combining vegetables with fish/meat, especially in the salads, but I think that's typical Italian. Very warm welcome and very good food. They even offered us limoncello! I highly recommend it.

Wonderful experience. Wonderful people! The gentleman Daniel that is out front. I had a fun interaction with him. Very nice. We had the best dinner we had in Rome. I had my favorite penne arrabiata. My wife had mushroom fettuccine and my daughters tortilini that was amazing. Danielle's brother took care of us inside. It's in a very touristy area, but the food and service were fantastic. It's the real deal, I'm Italian . Thank you Daniel. From your friend Paul with Cancer.

12/06/2025: First time at Akira and it was an exceptional experience. Greta served us and with so much sweetness and education she advised and helped us in choosing the dishes. We had the chicken guioza, the veg onigiri, ramen with chicken karaage and the one with shoyu sauce. Everything was truly amazing, the delicate but present flavors and all the dishes presented very well. To finish we chose the matcha tiramisu and… mammamia… the best I have ever eaten. Thanks guys, you made our evening fantastic! Greta, you are so sweet!!

30/06/2025: Really cute gelateria near the Vatican City. My family walked here after climbing the dome at St Peter’s basilica. My son had gelato while I enjoyed a strawberry granita. The staff was very friendly. I recommend coming here.
