Eppinger Caffè', Italia In Trieste

The staff here is so kind and helpful, even though we were overtired and new. A very welcome first espresso and lunch in town with buskers singing nearby. We loved our coffees and pastry.

Every time I visit Trieste, I make sure to stop by Eppinger Bar. It definitely offers the best service and the best Aperol Spritz and Hugo in town. One of the highlights is the free snacks that come with your drinks. You get an amazing variety like small sandwiches, pizza slices, chips, or whatever they have on the daily menu. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great drink and fantastic service!

I ordered a pistachio brioche along with a glass of water which was cold and more like bottled than tap water, which I really appreciated. They don't charge for the latter, now it's not something everyone does, while for the brioche I spent €2.20 with those €0.20 for table service. I must say that for me the price for a brioche remains high, but for the good quality it has and the area in which it is located I would say it is acceptable, especially because it is the only bar that makes quality brioches here in Trieste in my opinion. notice, both as a pastry and as a filling, good and clearly present. On the other hand, without competition, we are all willing to spend that little bit more for a good brioche.

I went here after wandering around Trieste. It was close to my hotel and I was exhausted. I ordered a slice of Pizza, a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, and a tiramisu, because why not, I'm in Italy and I'm going to try all the Italian things! In America, we don't have pizza like this. I have been to a million craft pizza places and I have NEVER had a slice like this. The crust was thick, yet light and fluffy, but perfectly crisp. The cheese and vegetables were so fresh. The wine was good, I even had a second glass. I don't usually have dessert, ever, but the tiramisu was probably the best I have ever had. Honestly, a excellent experience and a highly recommended Caffè

Uno dei caffè più storici di Trieste dove si trova davvero tutto, oltre alle colazioni con i golosissimi dolci, si posso ordinare deliziosi pranzi per pausa lavoro e sfiziosi aperitivi. Superlativi i macarones, lo strudel, la torta alla ricotta e la Sacher che non ha nulla da invidiare al Sacher Wien che gli è difronte, anzi! Una locale storico, una certezza!
