Jack and Maria Luisa with their restaurant have given back to the beautiful square of Forio that genuine Ischia atmosphere full of good taste and simple elegance which was the characteristic of Ischia in the sixties and seventies. The cuisine is first class as is the pizza. Well done... I would like to point out, as you can see in the photo that, despite the seasonal closure, some lovely fabric curtains are left inside the windows and some decorative plants are left outside to maintain a certain aesthetic. Having said this, it would be nice if during the winter the cars weren't parked against the door (as is bad custom) to allow the environment of the little square to remain pleasant for the islanders themselves and for the tourists.

This osteria pizzeria restaurant in Forio is a place of excellence! Meanwhile, it is the most characteristic place, with its flowers, checkered placemats, straw umbrellas and grimacing numbers to indicate the tables! The menu is simple but tasty and varied, and the welcome is friendly and attentive. The best thing is to get advice and pampering from the Patron: Jack, a restaurateur with great experience and sensitivity. I highly recommend it!!

Before even talking about the excellence of the food, I would like to underline the incredible attention to detail that makes this place truly special. As soon as you cross the threshold, you feel like you're transported to another world, far from Ischia. You are immersed in an oasis of lush plants, scents of aromatic herbs and soft light that creates a magical and enchanting atmosphere. The staff is simply impeccable: always smiling, extremely attentive and of a rare kindness. As for the food... well, you eat divinely! Delicious food, wonderful and cozy atmosphere. We had a great time here . Tomato bruschetta, lemon pizza, lemon sprits , meatballs : all delicious.
