I happened to be hungry and ended up there by chance during a challenging bike ride. A friendly welcome, a delicious tasting menu, excellent wine, and fair prices, albeit not exactly cheap. I'd gladly go back.

Eating at Mitya (Sgonico wine shop) is a unique experience, fresh food prepared with fantasies of unique aromas and flavors, from raw and cooked appetizers, first courses and then the endless grills, excellent wines and bubbles that caress the palate. I recommend everyone to try an experience of unique flavors, accompanied by friendliness and unique professionalism. ENJOY YOUR MEAL

A sensational chance discovery! Excellently prepared seafood (some of it reminded me of ceviche), tender sea bream in a salt crust (best served with just salt and olive oil), excellent wine (a half bottle is priced absolutely fairly) – and all this in a wonderful setting. Nice chef, friendly service. Highly recommended!

11/11/2025: A wonderful experience, a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Eugenio and his staff. Yesterday we were at the Malcanton to celebrate my son's graduation. There were 14 of us, all thrilled with the atmosphere and service. Mr. Eugenio is a great host and a very helpful person.
