13/06/2026: Wonderful place, surrounded by greenery and peace. Last night we discovered that the new chef is truly talented, with fantastic and delicious dishes.
Congratulations ❤️
23/05/2026: I spent a weekend at Agriturismo I Merisi in Forlì, hoping to get away from it all. Overall, the experience was decent, though there are a few limitations that have led me to lower my rating.
The property is nestled in the Forlì countryside, in a very quiet and easily accessible area. The welcome was warm and the owners were helpful, maintaining a family atmosphere that I appreciated. The room I was assigned was simple but clean, with rustic furnishings consistent with the farmhouse's style. Some details, however, show their age, and a small update would make the environment more comfortable.
The outdoor spaces remain the strong point: spacious, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. However, one thing I noticed is that there aren't any particularly interesting activities nearby. The area is very isolated, and aside from a few walks in the fields, the property doesn't offer any noteworthy experiences or activities. For those looking for an active stay or some organized activities, this can be a clear limitation.
Breakfast was good, with local products and homemade cakes, while the dinner we tried one evening was authentic and well-prepared, featuring traditional Romagna dishes and generous portions.
In short, Agriturismo I Merisi is a good place for those seeking tranquility and nature, but the lack of nearby activities and the lack of experiences offered by the property somewhat detract from the overall value of the stay. With a few more amenities and a bit of updating, it could offer much more.
