Enoteca Mazzini In Assisi

What can I say? Everything exceptional from the dishes to the location, from cleanliness to courtesy. We had dinner on the evening of the 24th and lunch on the 25th of December, bringing our little dog with us without any problems.

For the appetizer, we had the bruschetta mix and it was spectacular. Our favorite was the spread the waiter claimed was spicy. It was not spicy in the slightest, but it was absolutely delicious. We would have taken jars of it home if we could. For the main course, we had the lentil soup and the truffle gnocchi. The soup was well made and had lots of flavor. The gnocchi, on the other hand, had no flavor and I would not recommend it. For dessert, we had a local Assisian dessert, and it was absolutely delicious. We would have ordered another, but we never saw the waiter again. Service was ok, we only saw our waiter a few times and were left alone in the loft of the restaurant for the most part. Overall, the appetizers and dessert were worth our time and money, but the service and main courses were a turn off.

Cibo ottimo, consiglio la selezione di bruschette e i gnocchi al tartufo. Locale molto carino, sia fuori che dentro, ben curato. Rapido il servizio, personale cordiale ed accogliente.

Reluctantly, I cannot give more than 3 stars to this place. Aesthetically very nice, located in a convenient spot and with a nice outdoor space. Note of merit also to the owners. Nothing to say about the wines, vast choice and all high-level wineries. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the food: average assortment of bruschettas, considering the area in which they are located, they could have used something other than simple creams/pâtés. Truffle tagliatelle whose truffle flavor did not come through, you could only taste the butter. Good wild boar stew.

In questa enoteca, abbiamo mangiato in maniera divina. Non capisco le recensioni negative, poi guardando la storia di chi recensisce come al solito potete farvi una ragione. La condizione familiare è perfetta, disponibilità e professionalità da vendere. Selezione di salumi e formaggi Umbri buonissima. Ottimi i primi, la TAGLIATELLA "fatta a mano" al tartufo nero estivo e qualcosa di divino!! Così come lo SPEZZATINO DI CINGHIALE, prodotto di ottima qualità e cucinato alla perfezione. La selezione dei vini è ottima, una cantina davvero molto ricca, un posto molto, ma molto particolare. Prezzi in linea con la città di Assisi, (a mio avviso anche bassi) sia per qualità che per il prodotto stesso. Lo consiglio.

A warm welcome, an excellent meal - and - if the place wasn't 1,100 km from where we live, we would come more often. We took wine that we drank with us. A big thank you, we really enjoyed the evening there!

I ate very well in this wine shop located in a very beautiful area of ​​the village. It has a pleasant outdoor space, but the interior is also very welcoming. The service was really very friendly and I really appreciated the many vegetarian alternatives on the menu, such as the delicious spelled salad that I chose to eat. As a good wine shop, they also have an excellent selection of wines and desserts characteristic of the area. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Assisi

I had dinner with my partner in this wine shop and we had a wonderful time. Excellent cutting boards, friendly and knowledgeable staff, wide choice of wines! We will definitely return during our next stay in Assisi.

Good quality of food but very small portions, the price is not adequate!
