Enoteca La Boccia In Padova

The restaurant is located in the very center of the city, but on a side street, so no big crowds. The menu is short and focused on local specialties. The food definitely met my expectations—simple, fresh, and filling. The portions were generous, enough to fill you up with just one dish and a side dish. €3 for a coperto is a bit steep, but the Veneto region is at least fairly consistent here, as lower prices are rare. A big plus for the very competent and friendly service, who spoke fluent English. Nothing to complain, everything to eat.

We dined at this osteria near the cathedral, in the old Jewish ghetto. The restaurant has limited seating, so reservations are always recommended, although we managed to find a table. The staff were friendly. The dishes were traditional Venetian, especially Paduan. After a platter of cured meats and cheeses, we chose a delicious stuffed guinea fowl. We'll definitely return to try the other dishes on the menu.

A delightful... very pleasant discovery in the center of Padua!! Traditional Venetian dishes revisited but without "foreign" influences, accompanied by a nice selection of wines. The young (BRAVINI!!) and dynamic staff offers attentive and fast service. A truly pleasant interlude on a Sunday stroll through beautiful Padua.

Lovely wine bar with excellent kitchen and friendly staff. Enjoyed the beef tartare and fettuccine ragu, both excellent. Nice wine selection to match the food.

We left Rome with a reservation to avoid any problems, but when we arrived, it wasn't available because someone on the staff decided to cancel it for no reason... Panic! Luckily, the girls working there did everything they could to find us a table in 15 minutes. The result? An incredible dinner, a lovely, hospitable staff, and delicious food—the best cod I've ever had! It could have been a disaster, but instead it turned out to be a pleasant experience, one we'd recommend to anyone traveling to Padua. Thank you for your hospitality and the excellent food! The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming, with a sense of empathy that shouldn't be underestimated when traveling. Highly recommended!
