An excellent fish restaurant in Orta Nova. The selection of appetizers, the grilled fish platter, and the pasta were superb. The host gave us a warm welcome and offered excellent advice. We had a wonderful evening and highly recommend Ristorante Enoteca Incontri di Mare.

An extraordinary experience! If you love fresh fish, this restaurant is a must-visit. The raw fish is exceptional: top-quality, fresh, and with authentic seafood flavors. The sea urchins, in particular, were spectacular, with a rare intensity. But the real highlight was the pacchero with lobster: a dish that's simply delicious. Perfectly cooked pasta, incredibly fresh lobster, and an impeccable balance of flavors. Honestly, I've never tasted such a good pacchero! A special thanks to the owner, a friendly, helpful, and attentive person who made you feel at home from the first moment. The service was fast and precise. We'll definitely be back!

I'm in Orta Nova for work, and I stop at Adriano's, who welcomes me as only a good host can. The rest is history! Excellent, fresh dishes, brimming with knowledge and expertise of their land. Words are superfluous, to be savored.

01/06/2026: Yesterday we had a great evening at the Costamarina. We enjoied the food and a fabulous Rosé. Additional we had a great view on the spectecular sunset and the fireworks. Thanks a lot to Elias and Domenico!
01/06/2026: A lovely evening with a sea view, a fantastic dinner with top-quality seafood. Even though the place was packed, they managed everything very well. I heard a few complaints from a few tables near ours, but I think these guys deserve recognition for the sacrifice they make to make all of us guests feel comfortable. Porta di Basso

10/05/2026: Porta di Basso was, quite simply, exceptional. The kind of restaurant that reminds you why certain dining experiences stay with you long after the evening ends. Set dramatically above the Adriatic, the atmosphere is breathtaking from the moment you arrive. As the light softened over the sea and the cliffs below, the entire evening felt almost cinematic — elegant, intimate and deeply connected to the landscape of Gargano. The cuisine was outstanding. Creative yet restrained, refined without losing soul. Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully balanced and deeply rooted in the territory while still carrying the confidence of true fine dining. One of those rare tasting experiences where every course genuinely surprises and delights. What elevated the evening even further however was the extraordinary service. Warm, polished, passionate and incredibly attentive without ever becoming formal or stiff. The entire team made us feel genuinely welcomed and carefully looked after throughout the night. Porta di Basso is not simply a restaurant — it is a destination experience. A place where setting, cuisine and hospitality align perfectly. Without doubt one of the most memorable dining experiences we have had in Italy.
