I'm in Orta Nova for work, and I stop at Adriano's, who welcomes me as only a good host can. The rest is history! Excellent, fresh dishes, brimming with knowledge and expertise of their land. Words are superfluous, to be savored.

Lunch at Enoteca Incontri di Mare in Orta Nova, an impromptu dinner recommended by a gourmet, lived up to expectations: incredibly fresh, tasty, and refined seafood dishes, served with elegance and attention; the catch of the day shines through in every bite. Kudos to Adiriano. In a non-maritime setting like Ortanova, they manage to satisfy the appetites and palates of those born in seaside towns like mine. Delicious, high-quality appetizers, a truly exquisite linguine with clams for the first course, and a superb fried fish dish. A well-deserved 5 stars.

I ate here with my wife and daughter. It's a truly fantastic place. The owner welcomes you and makes you feel right at home. The fish is truly delicious and very fresh. I had the raw tuna and swordfish, which were amazing. My daughter had the perfectly cooked fried fish, and my wife had two appetizers, both delicious. I recommend it to everyone, both for the quality of the ingredients and the price.

13/01/2026: LOCATION: The Lido Giardino di Monsignore Pizzeria and Restaurant is located in Contrada Torre del Porto in Mattinata. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This restaurant is well-known among tourists and locals alike. When you arrive, you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea. Especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind the rocks, the sea is tinged with various colors. On the several occasions I've been, I've enjoyed both the fish-based first and second courses, as well as the pizzas. Each dish reflects the tradition of the Gargano. The restaurant has ample parking, a significant detail in an area that's very busy during the summer months. The photographs I took are testimonies that tell a story, more than a thousand words. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Port Tower was one of the ancient coastal towers built in the 16th century to guard against Ottoman pirate raids. CONCLUSION: If you enjoyed this read, I invite you to discover my other reviews.

18/10/2025: We were here just for dinner - we liked it. It's not the season anymore, so there are very few tourists, and there was no need to book a table in advance - we did it in person the day before without any problems. The staff speaks English. The service is excellent, unobtrusive and appropriate. We didn't take the complimentary wine, but the offered glass of white was very pleasant and went well with dinner. We had a table by the window, but, unfortunately, it was raining heavily all evening, so neither the stars nor the moon above the sea were visible, and in principle nothing was visible out the window)))), but this did not prevent us from enjoying the taste and conversation. In addition to delicious food, the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, beautiful bright design. If we are in these places, we will definitely come back to try the next menu. Thank you for the wonderful experience and mood! Citrus notes in the dishes were wonderful!:)
15/10/2025: I found a warm welcome, hospitality, and excellent, simple vegetarian cuisine, as well as the wine pairings. The dining room and sea view are breathtaking, and even the room I chose with its terrace allowed me to enjoy a wonderful sunrise. Thank you, AnnaLisa and staff.
