It was amaizing. You need to try sea bass as a starter. One of the best dishes I’ve had in my life.

The restaurant’s food is creative, satisfying, with a local twist and the same goes for the excellent wine selection. With a friendly atmosphere and great service. Thank you that was delicious!

I confess I have mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand because I arrived with a sprained ankle they were gracious to give me a room very early that was all ready, instead of the one I would have received had I arrived later in the day. I stayed cooped up of necessity for 2 days. The attitude they showed was always friendly. And the room itself was clean spacious and remodeled with remarkably modern bathroom fixtures and wonderful air conditioning that worked perfectly in 97° temperatures! Thank God!
There is a restaurant associated and I ate there one night. I couldn't eat there the second night because they were closed on Wednesdays. But I must say the food was good, the wine selections were amazing, the table settings remarkable, and service was good. You could see a chef with a top hat and a sous chef with a top hat through the glass in the kitchen.
On the other hand, the outside appearance is deceptive because it looks "run-down" and doesn't have much of a reception area at all; only a wide place in the hallway with a beat up desk. And perhaps most surprising of all there was no one there. There was only a small type written note that said to check in please call this number. I couldn't believe it. Maybe it's me but my first impression was pretty bad.
And another matter was the breakfast. I was given a slip of paper to go around the corner for breakfast each morning. That may be because the restaurant was closed the first morning and I don't understand about the second morning. Anyway I went to the location and it was a bar and there was no explanation given as to what I was permitted to choose. I chose a pastry and a foucasio and a cappuccino. But when I asked for a small bottle of water I was told I'd have to pay for that. This is certainly different from the open buffet style breakfast at most of the locanda's where I stay. It put me off enough that I didn't even bother to go back for the second morning free breakfast.
I spent two nights here and because I was pretty much laid up, it was the room that was most important. So I really can't complain.
But to be honest Sansepulcro does not seem a particularly lively or attractive town. I would not choose to go back either to the town or to the Locanda Guidi.

Our experience refers to the restaurant, we chose it because we were intrigued by the vast wine shop on the main street.
The food was simple, it didn't excite me (missed the wow)... both the platter.. and the tagliatelle (beef)... and the risotto with lemon cream and clams.
The Tuscan style found elsewhere was missing in the dishes and in the restaurant.
Waiters always present, good service.

We had an excellent lunch here after visiting the Museo Civico. Luca was a friendly and helpful waiter and the food was absolutely delicious.

A true hidden gem for all foodies to find. A family owned restaurant in the heart of Sansepolcro where the father is a chef, and the siblings are foragers and sommeliers ensuring each food experience layers every detail to engage the senses. Par to none, this little book became an all time favorite (and that’s hard to say in Italy). I visited almost every week and each time I enjoyed a new delicacy that included seasonal mushrooms and truffles. The ambiance, the service and the food are all Michelin star quality.

I had lunch here on Tuesday 26 March with my wife and we had a great time. Cozy place, good service, good food. Only a slightly too rough Chianti (Frescobaldi, Perano) which, like many reds today, should be drunk the day after opening.

Large, modern, warm, quiet and clean room with huge TV screen equipped with Sky. We are in the center of Sansepolcro, parking 200 meters away. Excellent connected wine shop, good dishes, excellent wine. Family run and very friendly staff.
