I’m staying a month in Cortona and out of all the places I’ve been to so far this place has the cheapest and best sit down restaurant . Just because it cheap does not mean it isn’t quality. The lasagna is soo good and it’s only 9€.

Nice wine bar with seating outside, on the main street. Having entered here on a good suggestion, we were very happy to eat the typical ciacce, a kind of piadine but harder and crunchier, served in 2 hot triangular halves, well greased with excellent oil and filled with cheeses and cured meats. The pecorino, artichokes and dried tomatoes and the truffled mortadella, rocket and goat cheese are exceptional (but no less than the others I think). No wine for us but the selections on display were interesting. Paid €7 per bite, less than a measly sandwich at an Autogrill. A place not to be missed

We had the Tuscan platter for one and it was sufficient for the two of us. The waiter recommended excellent wines from the region. Overall a great experience.

Great local spot to have a casual lunch, a few drinks or a coffee. The service was amazing as they did not try to oversell us on more food than we needed and let us try different wines to see which one we liked. The Charcuterie board was amazing and filled us up perfectly. Wine, dessert and coffee also hit the spot. Very friendly staff with fresh and tasty local options. Stop here when in the area.

Classica enoteca informale. Dove mangi bene e con prodotti locali. Personale gentile e cortese. Servizio veloce. Ottimo vino rosso locale e tutto molto soddisfacente. Tagliere vario e ciaccia calda consiglio come i dolci. Grazie e alla prossima.

I bought regional wine here, the young man was very knowledgeable, spoke very good English and sold me special wines, some of which I was able to try that I certainly wouldn't have found

27/05/2025: Locale del centro; saletta al pian terreno ed una al piano superiore. Piccolo dehor. Cucina essenzialmente del territorio. Qualità molto molto elevata. Ampia cantina. Personale cortese e molto disponibile. Servizio veloce. Di particolare rilievo i pici cacio e pepe, le carni e l’insalata di funghi grazie anche alla qualità dell’olio abbinato in tavola. Prezzi decisamente onesti. Lo consiglio vivamente.

29/04/2025: Very friendly and helpful staff, varied menu with angus as a specialty. The Tuscan starter and Angus ragù are recommended. Fast service and excellent food. Recommended for an outdoor lunch, especially in summer. Congratulations to the managers.
07/03/2025: Passing through because visiting La Verna, excellent farmhouse, excellent food, excellent service, I highly recommend it if you are in the area
