This is a gem of a find and has become our "local" when we are in Cortona. A truly Italian experience. Not touristy but tourists are welcomed. The bruschetta is outstanding as are some of the other very local dishes. Seriously try the potatoes and tomatoes. A very tasty surprise. Don't miss this spot!

We came for a wine tasting and lingered for 3 hours. This little wine store has the loveliest staff who really care about your experience. They were very kind to accommodate a friend in my group who only drinks dessert wines by modifying the tasting to her palette. The fresh-baked bread with salt and olive oil is the best I have ever tasted – and I’ve eaten a lot of bread in my travels. I appreciated the winery recommendations of where to visit while in the region as well as the lovingly-made snacks presented to us over the course of our time in the shop.

This is a perfect bar! Excellent service, good drinks and great snacks with drinks! If u want to experience a local aperitivo you must come here!

My favorite place in Cortona! I have returned home, and I am craving more of their delicious pappa al pomodoro! Not to mention the pecorino ham and truffle sauce sandwich (really..that is so good it should be illegal!)...and nothing beats sitting outside sipping on one of the best cappuccinos in Cortona. Still, it is the staff that kept us coming back. Jacob, Sylvia, Danilo and Francesco are amazing people, and their kindness was an important part of our time in Cortona. We look forward to seeing you all again next year, Until next year, stay safe my friends! (Zac, Stacy and Robin Wood)

I’m staying a month in Cortona and out of all the places I’ve been to so far this place has the cheapest and best sit down restaurant . Just because it cheap does not mean it isn’t quality. The lasagna is soo good and it’s only 9€.

01/10/2025: I have eaten here several times at lunch for pasta, this was a first dinner and for meat. After reading the menu, none of us could decide, so we asked the staff for recommendation. The choices were amazing, she brought both types out for us to review and approve. We selected a 30 day and 60 day and chiana, each was delivered and we had time to enjoy it before the second came out. Excellent wine recommendation and side dishes really complemented the meat. Highly recommend this restaurant.

16/11/2025: We had lunch here with friends and had a great time. The first courses were delicious, and the second courses were also good, with some details that could be improved, but we were still very satisfied. The menu is interesting, traditional, but with an original twist. Congratulations, we'll be back soon.
15/11/2025: The dishes were all excellent and plentiful. The setting was splendid, with the brick and stone building, a classic of old Tuscan homes. We had lunch in what was once the stables. The waiters were very attentive and respectful. The price was fair.
