We didn't stay here but we did a tour of the property and wine tour with light lunch. Our host was fantastic and very informative, plus the wines were delicious! The light lunch was local cured meats, cheeses and honey - all of which were so tasty. Highly recommend coming here!

We visited Castello di Meleto on a hike through Chianti and had a wonderful experience thanks to our tour guide, Gabriele. First off, the vineyward, castle, and grounds are absolutely stunning! Gabriele was extremely knowledgeable about the vineyard and its rich history and provided a detailed tour of the castle with a very lighthearted and comical narrative. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting accompanied by a detailed overview from Gabriele. The standout for me was the Vinsanto, which is absolutely incredible! Highly recommend a visit to the vineyard!

We didn't stay at the castle, but we did do a tour of the castle and winery, complete with a wine tasting at the end. The tour was fabulous. The guide was so knowledgeable, both about the castle with its rich history as well as the wines. The guide was very personable, funny and a joy to spend time with. The tasting was wonderful. Each of the 3 wines was explained in detail. And the wine was wonderful. It was a great tour and well worth the price of admission.
