A lot of reviews saying this place is expensive but it's actually quite reasonably priced given the location! The food was really good and the service was spot on. The seafood is fresh and the ceviche was some of the best I've had. We really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this restaurant!

Indescribable view and atmosphere. Best pesto I ever had. That was a delicious vegetarian meal. Misto frito - mixed fried seafood- was perfectly fried, well seasoned and very fresh. The service was attentive, friendly and unobtrusive. Perfect meal after the difficult way down to the seaside.

Fair value for money, for a restaurant with such a location (view of the port). Almost no vegetarian options.

We actually had a lovely time despite all of the bad comments this place has. Obviously you are paying for the location, that I must say is top tier, as well as for the label of a “nice restaurant”. My boyfriend had the seafood pasta and I had the plate of fried seafood (squid, prawns) and potatoes. We both liked our dishes and the portions were filling but probably would not pay more for them. All in all if you want to have a fancy dinner in Riomaggiore you should go and maybe knowing a few words in Italian would not hurt to come here.

Worth the hype! Thought the food was very good, yes it's more expensive than others but for the view and ambiente that you get it is worth it. Definitely reserve a table a day before.

The restaurant is located near the port of Riomaggiore and offers a pleasant environment. Prices are on average from 15 to 18 euros per course, which leads to a cost of around 50 euros each for a complete dinner. Even though we had a good time, I noticed some oversights which, considering the cost and the level of the restaurant, did not go unnoticed. One main problem was the menu: it wasn't precise and caused a small mix-up. We had ordered half a liter of house wine, but we were brought a 0.375 liter bottle, while the liter is 0.75 litres. While it may seem like a minor detail, this mistake made me nervous. The fritto misto with mixed vegetables was prepared to perfection, but the vegetables mainly consist of a few pieces of fennel and five french fries. It is useful to ask what is included in the dish, because the composition can vary and there are also anchovies, which were not specified in the menu. The trofie with pesto were bland and anonymous, disappointing me greatly. However, the dessert was delicious and perfect, a positive note at the end of the meal. The service was slow and we had to ask several times to get what we wanted; the coffee took 15 minutes and only one waiter in four was particularly knowledgeable and entertained with jokes. When I tried to give my feedback at the checkout, the response from the person at the checkout was rather evasive. Despite everything, I will probably go back, but there are definitely aspects to improve. In my opinion, the restaurant deserves 4 stars instead of 5.

Expensive, due mainly to the location. Quality of food is good - I enjoyed the gnocchi (25 eur). Views over the harbour, hence you pay a premium. A place to eat when impressing your friends.

Delicious food and nice service

Più che enoteca direi ristorante, visto che la carta dei vini è “povera” ma per il resto nulla da dire. Qualità alta e vista mozzafiato! Un vero e proprio gioiellino. Prezzi alti ma ne vale la pena

The setting was lovely, with beautiful views of the harbour and you looked down on the hustle and bustle. The staff were attentive and pleasant. The food was expensive for what it was, the choice on the menu was very limited, the food was just average.
