The food was fantastic! We were very lucky to have found this restaurant while driving around. Service was great and every bite was delicious. We got great recommendations for wine to pair with our meal. The paccheri was my favorite! Prices are reasonable for the region.

Best in Tuscany! We started with the fungi and cheese flan, then the vitello tomato was cooked to perfection, Chianti 🍷 for sure all over! Pacheri with ragú was the best pasta in the whole 10 day trip in Italy. And last, some cheese board and what’s more… we came the day after for some pizza, anchovies and bubbles! Family business and can’t love the place more! Grazie!

In a charming, traditional ambiance, the food is cooked with palpable passion – honest, artisanal, and with great attention to detail. Each dish is a small homage to Tuscan cuisine: The homemade panzerotti with fresh pecorino and tomato jam was a wonderfully fragrant starter, followed by velvety chicken liver pâté on airy brioche – classic yet with a subtle twist. The "Pici all'aglione" and the "Paccheri with Chianti ragù" also demonstrate how much soul can be contained in a simple pasta sauce when prepared with care. For the main course, the grilled tagliata of young beef was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, buttery tender on the inside – accompanied by hand-cut potatoes reminiscent of grandma's Sunday cooking. Even the homemade bread and the delicate vegetable side dishes deserve a special mention. The exquisite wine list, compiled by a connoisseur, deserves special mention: In addition to carefully selected local Chianti Classico wines – elegant, balanced, and with their characteristic cherry and herbal notes – there are also mature Riserva vintages that impressively demonstrate how aging-worthy and multifaceted these wines can be. Those who prefer something lighter can discover fresh, mineral white wines from Tuscany, which pair wonderfully with the antipasti. The advice is delivered with palpable joy and profound knowledge, without any intrusiveness – you can feel the passion for wine in every word and in every glass. Wonderful dinner here. Sat outside on the piazza. Delicious pastas and meats. Fish dishes on Friday were incredible. Extensive wine selection. Recommened by locals and for good reason.
