A culinary gem in the heart of Chianti – Enoteca Baldi Enoteca Baldi has become a permanent fixture for us in Panzano. In a charming, traditional ambiance, the food is cooked with palpable passion – honest, artisanal, and with great attention to detail. Each dish is a small homage to Tuscan cuisine: The homemade panzerotti with fresh pecorino and tomato jam was a wonderfully fragrant starter, followed by velvety chicken liver pâté on airy brioche – classic yet with a subtle twist. The "Pici all'aglione" and the "Paccheri with Chianti ragù" also demonstrate how much soul can be contained in a simple pasta sauce when prepared with care. For the main course, the grilled tagliata of young beef was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, buttery tender on the inside – accompanied by hand-cut potatoes reminiscent of grandma's Sunday cooking. Even the homemade bread and the delicate vegetable side dishes deserve a special mention. The exquisite wine list, compiled by a connoisseur, deserves special mention: In addition to carefully selected local Chianti Classico wines – elegant, balanced, and with their characteristic cherry and herbal notes – there are also mature Riserva vintages that impressively demonstrate how aging-worthy and multifaceted these wines can be. Those who prefer something lighter can discover fresh, mineral white wines from Tuscany, which pair wonderfully with the antipasti. The advice is delivered with palpable joy and profound knowledge, without any intrusiveness – you can feel the passion for wine in every word and in every glass. Wonderful dinner here. Sat outside on the piazza. Delicious pastas and meats. Fish dishes on Friday were incredible. Extensive wine selection. Recommened by locals and for good reason.

Great food and service in the heart of Panzano!

A very nice restaurant. We went there three times during our vacation. Excellent service, pleasant atmosphere, and of course, excellent food. The wine selection is enormous!

We’ve been coming to Enoteca Baldi several times every summer for years – and we’re always impressed. The wine selection is outstanding, the wine service is knowledgeable and personal, and the food is on a remarkable level for an enoteca. Both the pasta and the bread are homemade, and the overall product quality is excellent. One of the things we appreciate most is the consistency of the staff – the same friendly faces year after year, which speaks volumes about the atmosphere and management. Gian Maria, the owner, has a great instinct for wine and curates what might be the best wine list in the region. Whether it’s a rainy day spent inside the charming, rustic interior or a sunny afternoon outside on the quiet piazza – for us, Enoteca Baldi is a cornerstone of Chianti. Possibly the finest place in the area for anyone who values great wine, great food, and genuine hospitality.

Capitati per caso in 4 persone ci hanno fatti accomodare all’interno, posto molto carino e accogliente. Abbiamo preso antipasto di salumi e 4 primi e devo dire che tutto era molto buono ( consiglio i pici all’aglione molto buoni), prezzo nella norma. Che dire…cibo buono, vino buono, se siete in zona fermatevi!👍✌️

Situado en la plaza de Panzano este es el lugar perfecto para una comida perfecta. Ingredientes caseros, frescos y de primera calidad. Después de una semana en Toscana esta es la mejor comida que hemos comido. ¡Ya hay reservaciones para mañana! Disfruta.
