Enosteria Lipen In Triuggio

Excellent pizza, and above all I recommend the Brianza pasta omelettes as a starter!

I had high expectations when I decided to try Lipen, a historic pizzeria in Triuggio, awarded the prestigious Tre Spicchi by Gambero Rosso and included in the Top 50 of the best pizzerias in the world. However, the experience turned out to be far from expectations, leaving me with a sense of bitterness... quite a bit! Let's start from the positive aspects: the staff proved to be extremely courteous and the environment is welcoming, capable of making you feel at ease from the first moment. Furthermore, the appetizers and desserts, although they were not the main reason for the visit, lived up to expectations, denoting evident care in the choice of raw materials. However, the heart of the menu, the pizza, was a disappointment. My stracciata marinara, a great classic that should represent an essential test, turned out to be mediocre, penalized by visibly behind cooking. I don't deny the quality of the ingredients, perceptible from the first bite, but the execution failed to enhance them. The result was a decent pizza, without memorable highlights, far from the level one would expect from such a prestigious pizzeria. Even worse things went for the person who accompanied me: his pizza arrived raw, a mistake that is difficult to accept in a place that boasts such important awards. If not exactly inedible, it was still far from standard. I have attached a photo to do justice to my words. It is clear that the quality of the raw materials is not in question, but I wonder how it is possible that the execution is so mixed. Is it perhaps a sign of decline or lack of attention to detail? Lipen remains an interesting place for the atmosphere and for some of the menu options, but in the panorama of gourmet pizza, where excellence and consistency are fundamental, the experience was not able to win me over. For now, only one big regret remains.

1 You must book online in advance, especially for tables of more than 4 people 2 Neapolitan style pizza, light dough and quality ingredients... note of merit for the pizza on the shovel, crunchy corn dough 3 excellent service from the guys in the room, fast and kind (you can stay at the table for 90 minutes) 4 prices: this is the sore point and mine is not the "usual negative review" to ruin the average so much so that I give 5 stars...but €80 for a small family eating 3 pizzas 2 desserts 1 coke 2 bottles water should make you think. It becomes a "place to try and not allow yourself to return" alas... although the quality of the raw materials is recognized at this rate this splendid place and like unfortunately many others around will no longer be within the reach of average Italian salaries.

Nice good pizza... I've had better ones a little expensive 64 euros for 2 for pizza beer sweet coffee seems a bit exaggerated to me

Beautiful venue Cozy environment Friendly, professional and always available staff. Despite my culinary problems, the staff was very kind in preparing me a good dish. Highly recommended

I was in this place just yesterday, it's not the first time, as always excellent and well prepared food, the same goes for the pizzas; the vegan + mozzarella is truly delicious, not to mention the leeks au gratin with egg and truffle which are wooow

Pizze tradizionali buone, le altre più “ speciali” troppo care e articolate, si va fuori tema “pizza” A volte meglio rimanere sulla strada giusta per non incombere in errori. Attesa strana, lunga, discontinua e personale poco gentile, apatico.

Il fatto che non concedano nessun cambio ingrediente, mi fa pensare che non vogliano accontentare in cliente. Il menù pizza è intoccabile. Devi mangiare come piace a loro! Neanche fossero pizza già preparate…
