For a Michelin-starred restaurant, we were quite disappointed. The food didn't taste special, and if you ordered individual glasses of wine instead of a bottle, you were treated with less attention. Ultimately, we didn't think the extra expense was worth it.

After a few days in Alba, Enoclub remains for me the best restaurant recommended by Michelin: magnificent location, impeccable service, exceptional dishes. It's really worth the detour!

Excellent place and excellent value. I spent just over €100. For the service, food, and wine served in Alba, I haven't found another place like it. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind, and you'll remember them. They serve popcorn with black truffle, small slices of focaccia, and very good bread. The mixed antipasto is truly exceptional; the raw meat is remarkable, as are the peppers and Russian salad. The Angus steak with potatoes and zucchini is very tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of Maldon salt. The fried cod with friggitelli peppers is delicious. The 72% dark chocolate fondant with raspberry coulis is surprisingly delicious. Another treat is the small plate of small pastries, which is very popular. Four glasses: a 2021 Monterno Nervi rosé, a 2024 Silvio Grasso Barbera d'Alba, a 2023 Laghe Massolino Chardonnay, and a 2023 La Bella Estate Moscato Passito. The dining room staff is so welcoming, you'll leave feeling just as happy as you were at their table. I can't wait to come back!

06/10/2025: Discovered by chance, we were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff. The atmosphere is well-decorated, with light colors that convey a sense of tranquility but also a pleasant sense of family warmth. The combination of ambiance and the staff's hospitality is crowned by the dishes offered, which blend tradition with a touch of innovation. The end result is a pleasant and relaxing meal in every way. Highly recommended!
05/10/2025: Welcoming place, attentive but in my opinion too slow service, all dishes good except the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, for which I had high expectations and which instead I found very anonymous.

La Ca D'Olga

07/12/2025: Ca' d'Olga plays an interesting game between Langhe tradition and a desire to be bold. The menu is well thought out: all the great classics are there, reassuring and recognizable, but every now and then a bolder pairing emerges that avoids the "seen a thousand times before" effect. A cuisine that knows where to put its feet, but doesn't nail them to the floor. Among the most successful dishes are the macarons del frèt, centered and well-balanced, and a remarkable veal cheek, tender as promised and consistent down to the last bite. Raw ingredients are treated with respect, cooked precisely, and no unnecessary virtuosity. The wine list is discreet and consistent with the region, without encyclopedic pretensions. A downside: the selection by the glass, especially for dessert wines, is rather limited. A shame, because it somewhat breaks the finale. The service is informal but efficient: quick, courteous, without the rigidity of a restaurant that "takes itself too seriously." They make you feel at ease, and that's saying something. The location is isolated, off the beaten track, but it makes up for it with a spectacular view of the Langhe, almost like an agricultural Las Vegas: hills instead of neon lights, definitely better that way. Fair price, no surprises or scams disguised as creativity. In short: a solid, well-balanced place, where tradition and curiosity coexist without stepping on each other's toes. Worth the detour.
