A flawless hotel in every way - Il San Pietro is now my favorite place in the world. From the moment you arrive, the setting takes your breath away, spectacular views, stunning, terraces, and a sense of calm and luxury that is unmatched. You’re greeted by the most hospitable front desk staff who personally walk you through the property so you can make the most of your stay. Every facility is exceptional: the gorgeous pool, the iconic beach with its world, famous tennis court, the spa, the gym, The endless terraces and overlooks that invite you to relax and recharge. The restaurant is outstanding, breakfast is wonderful, dinner is even better With a magical setting, impeccable service, and live music that elevates the entire experience. This was our fifth visit and it’s only gotten better each time. I’m amazed how they are able to maintain the heritage and authenticity of the property, while constantly re-investing and ensuring it has all the modern amenities one would need. They are not resting on their laurels. Moreover, there is an incredible continuity to the staff - you will see the same people each time you return, which makes it feel very comfortable and every single dept in the hotel is five stars. O

Upon arrival into hotel the hotel parking we were immediately greeted by many friendly and perfectly uniformed and well groomed staff members. They immediately welcomed us in and instructed us on how to park with valet, get down to the lobby, etc. In the large understated lobby, we sat for about one hour, enjoying the view and enjoying some cocktails and delicious snacks. Did not go into outdoor patio area due to weather, but it was spectacular. After this, Roberto and staff welcomed us into the beautiful Restaurant Zass. I won’t give too many details on the food that we ate because you should experience this yourself. It suffices to say everything was amazing and executed to perfection from service to kitchen to bar and wine service. Grazie Mille

Truly one of the most exceptional places I’ve visited. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and it exceeded all our expectations. The property is absolutely stunning with breath taking views (even from your room) and the staff always went above and beyond with their service and kindness. We were thinking of splitting our time and spending one night in positano proper and we are so glad we didn’t. They offer shuttle services and boat rides into town, which makes it very accessible to that area. All we wanted to do was go back to San Pietro after a few hours in town. Make sure you eat at their Michelin star restaurant Zass. Thank you so much for an unforgettable trip!!!!

I especially loved the garden terraces overlooking the dramatic Positano coastline — the views are breathtaking and make it the perfect place to pause and relax. One of the highlights is the private beach, which feels like a hidden paradise. Equipped with sunbeds, a stylish bar counter, shower facilities, and even a private lift that takes you directly from the gardens down to the shore, it offers both comfort and exclusivity. Spending the afternoon there was pure bliss. From the thoughtful design to the serene ambiance, San Pietro captures the very essence of Positano. It’s not just a hotel stay, but a complete experience of beauty, culture, and relaxation.

What to say. Perfection in this business is here. Perfectly location. Perfect service from housekeeper to service staff to reservations to concierge to beach. All outstanding. How they remember everyone’s name is a mystery but they do. So personalised. Food quality is outstanding. We never left the resort for 8 days. I have nothing negative to say. I worked for Four Seasons Hotels for 5 years. This is way better. Andrea runs a fantastic resort. We return every year and like Cheers. Everyone knows your name.

17/10/2025: This was by far the best dinner we had in our entire 10 days of traveling through Italy. The service was top notch and the food was incredible. Everything was well presented and delicious. Not to mention the beautiful view of the Amalfi coast. It’s a hidden gem nestled among the cliffs. Give this place some Michelin stars! They absolutely deserve them!
15/10/2025: Da Ciccio Cielo Mare Terra was hands down one of the best dining experiences of our lives. We’re huge foodies and have eaten at some of the most renowned restaurants in the world, and this meal easily ranks in our top three. From start to finish, it was flawless. We were visiting on our honeymoon, and they went out of their way to make us feel incredibly special. They gave us an amazing table overlooking the water, and every detail of the evening felt personal and thoughtful. The food was extraordinary. The beef carpaccio and tuna were both incredible starters, the beef cheek was absolutely unreal, and the eggplant ravioli was out of this world. We also did the catch of the day, which was cooked perfectly—simple, fresh, and bursting with flavor. We finished with the lemon and hazelnut cake, which was the perfect finale to an unforgettable meal. Even the complimentary small desserts at the end were so lovely and delicious, a perfect little surprise to close the night. Every dish was executed with precision, creativity, and so much heart. The service was just as exceptional. Antonio and Giuseppe were both incredible, as were every member of the team. You could feel how much care every employee put into the experience, all the way down to the driver who took us to and from the restaurant. The hospitality was genuine and warm, and it felt like everyone truly loved what they were doing. We chose to do wine pairings, and every selection was impeccably chosen. The sommelier’s attention to detail and passion for his craft elevated the entire meal. You’d think this was a two-star Michelin restaurant until the bill comes and you realize it’s one of the most reasonably priced fine-dining experiences on the Amalfi Coast. Our main objective if we ever return to the Amalfi Coast will be to come back here. Absolutely incredible in every way.

01/12/2025: We did the tasting menu here and the results were a little mixed: out of four, two loved it and two were a little underwhelmed. The service was great, but probably would just order individual courses next time.
30/11/2025: We went to this restaurant because it was basically the only one open near our hotel. Lucky for us because everything was delicious and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We went on the early side (7 pm) and were the only ones in the restaurant for a bit. It picked up and was a little busier by 9 pm (remembering this is off season). Everything we had was delicious: the fritto misto, the red snapper, the potatoes with artichokes, the pizza, the lava cake and the sorbet. Would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend. Plus the restaurant has a car that took us to and from our hotel because we didn’t want to brave walking the coastal road in the dark
