Elìa Ù Mazzamauriello In Apice

Restaurant in the ghost town of old Apice, expectations were high. Difficulty viewing the menu QR code (I had to go outside to see the menu). Poor service (we ordered a €35 sparkling wine and it was served poorly: it was opened and left on the table). Good pizza.

I tried the pizza and it was decent... The toppings and fillings were excellent, but the dough was a little burnt, but I think that's how they make it in the area. I've had others and they were always burnt, maybe even worse on one occasion. I don't like the fact that there's no paper menu at all; you have to rely on your phone and QR code... I wish I had the old paper menu... I was in a group, and they helped me. But if I were alone, I would have looked elsewhere; that makes me nervous... Plus, I don't have internet on my phone. The staff was very kind, and it was pleasant anyway.

Excellent pizza, delicious meat. Excellent service and kind and friendly staff, especially Mrs. Eliana, very friendly and energetic, and above all, she makes wonderful desserts. We'll return and try other typical dishes.

We had the pleasure of discovering this restaurant on Sunday, August 17th, and then returned for dinner on Monday, August 18th. This restaurant is hidden among the streets of the small ghost town of Apice Vecchia. Greeted by the owners' smiles, we savored typical local dishes; and more. Finding the Genoveg (vegan Genovese) was a wonderful surprise. A zucchini parmigiana rich in traditional flavors. Not to mention the pizza, made with excellent quality ingredients, from the flour to every ingredient on the pizza. The family-run business makes you feel at home. On Sunday, when we arrived for lunch at 2:15 pm, they greeted us with a smile, and on Monday, for dinner, despite the place being packed, they always had the opportunity to stop by to greet us warmly. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, it will definitely be a regular stop. Highly recommended!

We went for dinner on a Saturday night; the place was packed. We dined indoors in a fairly noisy atmosphere. All the dishes were good, the pizza was excellent, and the waitresses were kind and helpful. The price seemed reasonable.

Ottimo ristorante, ottimi cibi, ottimo l'antipasto prosciutto crudo, mozzarella, però un po' salato nel prezzo. Non male, però

A place that is good not only for the belly, but also for the heart - with infinite cordiality and kindness of the staff, who makes you feel at home right away. The pizza is delicious, with quality ingredients. The croquettes and the pasta frittatas are also finger-licking good. In short, 100% highly recommended!!!

Beautiful restaurant, excellent quality/price ratio and the owner is very kind... Since she is also pro pelosetti, next time I will also bring my Ulysses... Ps it's really worth it

Devo dire che ritornerò con piacere in questo ristorante che fa dei prodotti di qualità ben selezionati la propria offerta gastronomica, Apice vecchia è suggestiva e il locale ha un atmosfera curata che mantiene il fascino del luogo. Abbiamo preso tre pizze tutte molto buone, equilibrate e cotte benissimo, al primo morso è stato facile capire la qualità degli ingredienti e dell'impasto , sicuramente tra le pizze buone della provincia con una location unica. La sera ed il giorno dopo senza nessun peso o arsura hanno confermato la bontà del prodotto, torneremo sicuramente. I fritti sono spaziali, Frittatina, e Arancino che mettono alla prova i più affamati. Gestione familiare con personale gentile e accogliente. Scelta vini buona e un distillato al sedano (gentilmente offerto) che merita. Consigliatissimo. p.s. non amo le foto dei piatti ma l'esterno meritava con quei fiori profumati
