El Porteno Prohibido In Milano

We waited for the new year in this splendid and wonderful place. From the moment you arrive, seeing the location and the style of furniture you are immediately involved in a magical atmosphere. Nice, welcoming, polite, helpful staff... from the security, to the girls who welcome you at the entrance, to the dining room staff... The dishes are real tasting experiences of the best Argentine specialties...obviously the wine cannot be outdone...super-stocked cellar! The live shows are engaging and exciting... the male and female dancers are as talented as the singers... There is nothing that can disappoint expectations... Everything is truly well looked after and refined to ensure the customer can fully enjoy the Porteno Prohibido experience.. Surely after having spent an excellent New Year's Eve evening... we will return often to relive the experience and enjoy excellent Argentine cuisine.

I would like to point out that we had a nice evening, but there were some things that I didn't appreciate at all. It's the first time we went to this restaurant and I had very high expectations since I had wanted to go there for a long time. I made a reservation by phone for an 8pm dinner with show. We arrive at the restaurant a quarter of an hour early and the girl at the reception told us that it was early to have dinner because there was no one there and insistently invites us to have an aperitif. Quite disconcerted we sit down and the prices are exorbitant, €18 for a Spritz!!!! Crazy. At that point we tell the waiter not to take anything and that we are waiting to enter. After two minutes we can magically enter the room for dinner. We start to go past the red curtains when again the girl at the reception abruptly tells us that we cannot enter, that we have to wait for the other girl to be assigned a table (and in any case there were already other people in the room at the table). We are really dumbfounded and I'm also starting to get nervous since I know that the place is quite exclusive and this treatment doesn't seem appropriate at all. We finally go inside to sit down and when I sit down I almost end up on the floor because the chair had a broken leg. The table for two people was really tiny to the point that I had to ask for something to put my bag on since it didn't have a long shoulder strap. The food was very good and the waitress who served us was really good and kind, the show was really wonderful, everyone was very good, I would have enjoyed it much better if I had had a better view (they put us on the side of the stage near the open kitchen) . PS. For such a venue I would expect there to also be a cloakroom for coats, as the dilapidated chairs are very small to place a winter coat on.

Excellent experience for location, quality of food and service. Very satisfied with the attention and customer care in particular with Attilio who was very attentive and professional. Compliments! We'll be back!

the atmosphere was great but the service was very slow and often had to repeat the order! the show was great !

What is surprising is the show on stage, because the dancers (and dancers) are good and beautiful. The meat is very good, but the rest of the food is poor. The environment is well looked after but when I went, even the waiters struggled to move between the tables, given that there were so many of them. Then between one performance and another you get up and can dance, as well as at the end of the show on stage. Overall, positive experience.

This place is magical!!! when you are inside, the energy of this little paradise envelops you and makes you experience a wonderful moment... It's all done with care, very chic. The friendly staff is always available. I will definitely go back

Tables and chairs to fail, not suitable for eating. I've had better meat. Nice show, friendly waiters.

Exceptional meat, shame about all the surroundings, in a restaurant that is positioned in a high range you expect a certain service, unfortunately in this case not at all satisfactory. Tables that prevent you from enjoying dinner, it is impossible to dine with 4 people, it is inconceivable that you have to be careful with every single movement so as not to drop something, waiters who are hasty and unprofessional in serving the customer, indeed, educated in trying to make you spend money as much as possible, our very kind waiter offered us bottles of prosecco several times to bring to the table so as to do a bit of show and after taking some shots of tequila he offered us the bottle without mentioning the cost obviously, our question was answered with almost €1000. These unpleasant situations make the place devoid of content, restaurant service for a starred final bill. Cocktails costing €20 each, bottles of wine all over €60, I really can't find the justification for these crazy prices other than the sensational increase in price of the place. The only positive note besides the meat was the really well done show, for everything else I'm really disappointed. Average spend €150.
