Nice find. El Mar in Bisceglie was a providential detour. Pleasant place with colors that orbit between nautical and Cuban. Kind welcome and a welcome of spicy breasts with olives. The menu presented on the blackboards placed between the tables as well as the one on the wall is characteristic. The kitchen is open to view, which is an added value. The desired dish was the paella with flavors of the sea which fully met expectations. Varied and well adorned with scampi, prawns, calamari, clams, mussels, all strengthened by the flavor of saffron. The cuisine is a personalized balance between Italian and Caribbean cuisine, with international influences acquired during chef Ariel's training. Fish, basically, is what the catch of the day offers. Having concluded the experience of paella del Mar down to the last grain of rice, the curiosity to try something more exotic pushed us to try the cod fillet with coconut sauce. A delicate combination of flavors between a slice of freshly pan-fried sweet fillet and a subsequent immersion in coconut sauce which thickens in a communion of flavours. When plating, a shower of black sesame seeds and dried flowers. To close a Jamaican cherry. Overall result, nothing short of heavenly.

Found it online, it immediately aroused a lot of curiosity, so we went there and I have to tell you the truth, the food is really good... it has a good quality/price ratio, fresh raw materials and well prepared... and the South American touch is noticeable... I recommend it!

Una piacevole scoperta nel centro di Bisceglie dove mangiare del pesce fresco senza spendere una fortuna. Abbiamo mangiato un risotto alla pescatora strepitoso e una frittura di calamari ben fatta...il tutto con una cucina a vista e preparati da uno chef Cubano. Anche i servizi igienici si presentavano puliti così come il locale nel complesso. Qualità/prezzo ottimo...insomma da ritornarci al più presto.
