El Chiringuito In Bari

It was an unexpected surprise to find this bar on the pier while the fishermen were returning from their sea voyages at 8:00 a.m. They have perhaps the best panzerotti in Bari, and I'm not exaggerating. The guy was super helpful and friendly. The focaccia was equally good. Usually, tomato sauce, especially in the morning, bothers me even during the day. I didn't notice this at all. A truly wonderful discovery!

Inexpensive and friendly, but not the full menu was available, which is a shame.

The cheapest beer in town ( draught beer - 1,5 eur, bottle - 1,2 eur) , with beautiful view and great atmosphere ! In the morning , there is a fish Market where you can buy some fresh oysters.

A cool spot in the city center by the water for a quick and cheap Peroni from a bottle. They also have drinks and some snacks. I recommend it. It has a bit of a biking vibe.

Highly recommended! While enjoying a delicious breakfast of beer and panini, you can watch the fishermen dismantle their catch. Meanwhile, the locals play cards in the sun. Absolutely idyllic.

Low-key casual bar with outside area - some fisherman are live catching stuff from the sea as I understand so you can try seafood. Music was a little too loud at times but a great area to enjoy some drinks with friends.

The center of Bari, a tourist town, and a bottle of beer for €1.20? Yes, that's possible right here. Nearby, you can buy a fisherman's breakfast, or "colazione dei pescatori." A great deal, of course, at the right times. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get a feel for what life is really like in that area.
