So cute, locals spot. Loved how close the tables were to one another and how authentic this place was. The pizza was incredible and you can even see the stone oven when you go up to pay.
We ordered a Wiener schnitzel with fries – the portion is really large, 2 schnitzels per serving, so for those who don't eat that much, I recommend getting one serving for two people or a child's portion.
The place itself isn't very attractive inside, with a restroom in the back... I won't comment on that...
The street parking is paid and hard to find.
Generally, if you're really hungry or looking for a place to eat that's open during siesta time, you'll find a spot here, but you can eat the menu without pizza (I can only assume the pizzaiolo had his siesta around 3:00 PM ;) because upon entering, we were immediately informed that they weren't serving pizza at the time).
If you are looking for traditional Italian food with perfect taste, just visit this restaurant in Cortina! It’s homemade food and couldn’t find such taste and food anywhere in Italy as this restaurant!
The classic, average pizza. The kind that fills you up but doesn't delight you... you'll wake up in the middle of the night to quench your thirst, obviously. Considering the average level of pizzerias in Cortina, not bad!
