We returned to this typical Milanese restaurant twice during our short stay in Milan. Since there were five of us, we tried many dishes, all delicious—starter, main course, and dessert. The service was excellent, the welcome superb, and the owner was very knowledgeable and truly friendly! Highly recommended!

Absolute little gem of a restaurant in the porta genova area, easily reachable from the central part of Milan and the Duomo. Delicious fried bread and lard, an excellent risotto Milanese and a delicious pana cotta, plus great options for wine by the glass kindly selected by the host. In a sea of not-bad but somewhat indifferent experiences dining across Italy this was a real stand out of a neighborhood restaurant.

A truly charming little family-run restaurant! The waitress is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The menu is minimalist and the portions generous. The gnocco fritto is truly stuffed with lots of prosciutto. The wine selection is good. My only complaint about the cutlet is the price, which is slightly higher than average in Milan, but I understand the expense of a quality product that I found expertly cooked. I hope to return soon.

Lunch at this typical Milanese trattoria is a must if you want to sample traditional cuisine. The place is small (so I recommend booking) and decorated in the classic, slightly dated trattoria style, but despite this, it's neither shabby nor dirty; on the contrary, it's warm and welcoming. The staff is very kind and cheerful! We had the risotto with ossobuco (a real delight) and the braised beef with mushrooms and polenta (very good, tender meat, perhaps a little salty). They have a wide selection of wines and desserts, which we haven't tried, but which seemed equally good and typical of the area (even from outside the region). We spent about sixty euros for two (including water and service), which is reasonable considering the generous portions. I recommend it.

Delightful little restaurant, small and cozy, with typical Lombard and Milanese dishes. The risotto with perch was truly delicious. But overall, everything was delicious. A friendly and kind woman served us. We had a wonderful time. It quickly rose to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Milan. 🔝

Amazing food- best risotto I had in my life, and I've had many. :) meat was super tender and full of flavour. Well balanced desserts were a perfect end for our meal. :)

18/11/2025: Milan is well worth a Mass! In my/our case, a restaurant...this restaurant! After a stroll along the Navigli, we stopped at this location. The quiet and intimate atmosphere (seating about thirty) fully satisfied our culinary appetites! There were four of us, and we ordered two braised meats, pappardelle with osso buco, and veal with tuna sauce—all delicious. And what about the desserts we tasted (excellent, to say the least), like the light and delicate tiramisu, apple pie, and torta della nonna? I stayed up all night and left satisfied, also because, besides the atmosphere, the service was more than excellent and friendly, and the bill was average... I'll conclude by saying that if I ever visit Milan again, I'll definitely try this Mass (restaurant)!! Recommended!!!!
16/11/2025: Wanted to visit a traditional Milanese restaurant during our visit to Milan and this spot did not disappoint. Both Ossobuco dishes were excellent, with very large portions and the Cotoletta was tender (and also huge). Staff were excellent, very welcoming and the homemade limoncello was poured freely as we left. Sad to have missed out on the Tiramisu! Thanks to the staff and the chefs 🤌
